Todays podcast is a must listen for coaches, players and parents alike. Graeme is a strength and conditioning coach as well as a pitching coach consultant and all-around smart guy. He has developed a method for assessing pitchers in order to better individualize training through the use of what he calls a “pitcher’s profile”. More recently, Graeme served as a Remote Sports Scientist Consultant with an MLB Organization from 2017-2018 (can’t disclose due to NDA), where he helped develop initiatives to improve athletic development and worked on projects aimed at individualizing training and throwing mechanics. He was also a Pitching Performance Coach with Tread Athletics in Charlotte, NC from 2019-2020.He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Jamestown, North Dakota and a Master’s of Science in Kinesiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. His thesis was titled "Correlation of Throwing Velocity to the Results of Lower Body Field Tests in Male College Baseball Players".
