Every year Billie's Craft Beer Fest brings the finest craft brewers to their festival in Antwerp, Belgium. Brewers from across the globe are pouring their beers at the festival. For the first time breweries from Australia were invited and it was amazing. We are glad DJ McCready from the Mountain Culture Beer Co. agreed to have a talk with us. He's an American who went to Australia, stayed over there, met his wife and together they started a brewery in the Blue Mountains (New South Wales). In just about 6 years they became one of the biggest craft breweries in Australia. But even more important, they have high quality standards. For three years in a row their core range beer 'Status Quo pale ale' was elected best beer of Australia and just recently DJ was named 'Best brewer of the Year'.We spoke about him, his brewery, their beers and Australian Craft Beer.Listen to this episode to hear all about it.
