Reports that if you want to get into horticulture as a labourer, then kiwifruit is your best bet. The latest NZ Kiwifruit grower industry report found employers paid between $27 and $29 per hour for picking green and gold kiwifruit. It was an 18 percent increase compared to last year and also included employers offering other incentives.
