نقدم تفسيرا لبداية سفر المكابيين الثاني ونروي قصة اكتشاف نحميا للنار المقدسة. كمانوضح ‎لأولئك الذين يعانون من الحزن والموت، مما يعتبر تذكيرًا للجميع بنعمة حياتنا وحياة أولئك الذين نحبهم. القراءات اليوم هي 2 مكابي 1، السيراخ 40-41، وأمثال 24: 1-7. We give context for the beginning of 2 Maccabees and recounts the story of Nehemiah’s discovery of the sacred fire. We also offer a reflection for those struggling with grief and death, which serves as a reminder to all about the blessing of our lives and the lives of those we love. Today’s readings are 2 Maccabees 1, Sirach 40-41, and Proverbs 24:1-7. I am reading using the Arabic Jesuit Catholic version from Holy Bible App which can be accessed on the app/website. You can also listen to the Bible in a Year podcast in English with Fr Mike Schmitz who did an amazing job. I am using lot of his comments in my reflection as well commentary from different trustworthy resources.
