#027 The Digital ENT Surgeon — Dr Krishan Ramdoo (CEO TympaHealth)

Dr Krishan Ramdoo was an ENT Surgeon before co-founding TympaHealth; the world’s first all in one hearing health assessment system. It’s essentially a digital otoscope (a scope that helps visualise inside the ear). Traditionally this was an analogue device, so no one else could see what you saw when you examined the ear — but with the Tympahealth system, you can see what the scope is looking at on your phone screen and then save that video to the patient’s records. Unlike other similar devices, you can also use it to remove ear wax. It was the winner of the global UX design award and it’s seriously beautiful.
