NBA writer and reporter Mark Medina joins the show this week, and immediately out’s Rob for schooling young kids at pop-a-shot. Mark just spent a couple weeks in Vegas for NBA Summer League, and bring us a first-hand account of Victor Wembanyama’s game and how cool the Sphere is on the Vegas strip. We also try to figure out how much time LeBron actually has left in the league after announcing his return, and Mark says after years of covering the Lakers he has learned not to bet against LeBron. Plus Rob, Mark and B-Dog debate how the Lakers starting five will shake out with free agency changes they’ve made this summer, and how James Harden will react if he is not traded out of Philadelphia. There is also a large debate about Paul Pierce’s comments that the Miami Heat wouldn’t make it out of the first round if they traded for Damian Lillard. Plus a cool Big Shot of the Week, a discussion about Horry County South Carolina, and Mark Medina jumps in for a hilarious round of Playing the Percentages.
