Yeah, I agree with you on that. I think that really, I mean, you could go for position player, pitcher, like doesn't matter if you're coming off of a game where things don't go your way, you're wanting to bounce back immediately in the very next start. And I think that's, I'd imagine what Shane Bieber is looking to do, especially after giving up the runs that he did to the Mariners in his last start on the 4th of July. And he gave up what the five runs in just the bottom of the second alone with the grand slam to a Rose Arena. So for, for me, if you're coming into this start one, you look at, You're playing against a Padres team who has had some oddly kind of similar struggles as the Blue Jays have this season.
But on paper, I feel like the Blue Jays should come in here and be able to win this series, if not win all three games against the Padres. And it all starts with the pitchers that are going to be starting on the mound. And with Shane Bieber and trying to get the command of his pitches. And it just kind of set the tone early. It just feels like it's the Blue Jays team coming off of those wins in San Francisco. where it kind of feels like they've got a little bit of that momentum rolling and you do not want to just immediately give it back to the opponent right at the start of this series, especially heading into the all-star break.
