I just don't know how this thing's going to change.
No, listen, this is a simple thing. You know, you've got one guy scuffling. You can kind of figure it out. You know, your first four hitters basically not doing anything. If you're John Schneider, what are you going to do? You know, take the bottom five, move them up to the top, leave the bottom four at the bottom. I mean, it's – this has gone beyond – well, I would say three weeks ago, this went way beyond John Schneider's pay grade. And it's up to the front office to – well, it's up to the front office to figure out what they're going to do here. Either you'll look at your team – You're three back of the wild card. Yeah. And, you know, you're one of the worst teams in baseball. And as bad as the American League is, there are teams that are over 500.
The Jays are 16 to 30 against teams over 500. They're roadkill when they face good teams. Not even good teams. 500 teams. Yeah. They're just right now one of the worst teams in baseball. I mean, that's the only way to put it. There's certainly, I would think, in the bottom third of baseball, the front office has to make a decision on this. And I just, I don't think it's as complicated as people are going to make it seem. The lineup you have right now Okay, I'm looking at the lineup. Guerrero, back next year. Okamoto, back next year. Kirk, back next year. Varsha, probably not. Clement, back next year. Keyes, maybe. Arias, who cares? Pena, maybe a bench player. Lucas, maybe a bench player. You've got... And, oh, Jimenez is in there.
Pardon me. He's back next year. You can't go into next season... With this lineup plus a healthy Addison Barger and, you know, whatever the hell's left of Anthony Santander and think that you're good enough. So you've got to look at making...
