Shell Ventures's Siddharth Mehta discusses investment methodology, details on Shell India accelerator program & Shell Ventures, and the thought process behind multiple investments

Siddharth is an Investment professional with experience in private equity, venture capital and startup accelerator in India and US. Currently leading India hub for Shell Ventures and evaluating startup investments in mobility, logistics, power and oil & gas sectors. Part of the founding team of Shell India startup accelerator E4 with deep experience on legal and financial structuring of accelerator, program execution and deal structuring. Prior to venture role, He was leading project finance team at Shell, evaluating $100M-$2B investment decisions across multiple geographies in Asia, Australia and Middle East. Extensive experience in financial modelling, risk analysis and economics with in-depth technical understanding of energy projects.
