China's Growth Forecast, US House Passes Spending Bill to End Shutdown

Global shares held a three-day gain that took them to within touching distance of a record high as the US House passed a bill to end the longest-ever government shutdown. Asian shares and the MSCI All Country World Index fluctuated between small gains and losses as investors stayed cautious with limited economic data clouding the outlook for Federal Reserve policy.
