Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
Hello, I'm Stephen Carroll. I'm in Brussels, where many of Europe's biggest decisions get made.
And I'm Caroline Hepke in London. We're the hosts of the Bloomberg Daybreak Europe podcast.
We're up early every weekday, keeping an eye on what's happening across Europe and around the world.
We do it early so the news is fresh, not recycled, and so you know what actually matters as the day gets going.
From Brussels, I'm following the politics, policy and the people shaping the European Union right now.
And from London, I'm looking at what all that means for markets, money and the wider economy.
We've got reporters across Europe and around the globe feeding in as stories break.
So whether it's geopolitics, energy, tech or markets, you're hearing it while it happens.
It's smart, calm and to the point.

Chapter 2: What recent events have escalated tensions between Israel and Iran?
No, they're crooked. They're urging the votes to be counted quickly. That's how they vote in California.
They're crooked just like you're crooked. Your press is crooked and meet the press is crooked.
President Trump then walked out of the interview calling ABC, CBS, CNN, and NBC one-sided networks.
Well, tonight, Karen, President Trump's going to be in New York City for Game 3 of the NBA Finals. The extra security means major changes for Knicks fans watching the game inside and outside Madison Square Garden. Bloomberg's John Stashower joins us with more on that. John?

Chapter 3: How is President Trump's stance influencing the Israel-Iran conflict?
The NYPD said the decision was made in conjunction with the Secret Service, and there is extra security tonight with the president in attendance. Knicks haven't played at the Garden in two and a half weeks since May 21st. Two wins in Cleveland, of course, two thrilling wins in San Antonio, and that's why Carl Anthony Towns and the Knicks bring a 2-0 finals lead to tonight's Game 3.
It's always great when you get to play the game of basketball at its highest level. So to be able to lace the shoes up, be able to put the jersey on, and be able to see our fans see finals basketball after all this time is going to be really, really special.
Tickets said to be going for about $10,000 up high and it's close to $100,000 down low. More on Game 3 coming up in sports. John Staschauer, Bloomberg Radio.
All right, sounds good. Thanks, John. Speaking of security concerns, less than a day before thousands of fans are expected to descend on neighboring Madison Square Garden, six people were injured in a stabbing inside New York's Penn Station. A suspect was taken into custody after the attack.
Paramedics found one victim with serious injuries, two with moderate injuries, and two with minor injuries. Authorities did not immediately release details about what led to the stabbing or whether the victims were targeted.
The sprawling rail complex beneath Madison Square Garden serves Amtrak, Long Island Railroad, NJ Transit, and New York City subway lines and is used by hundreds of thousands of commuters and travelers each day. Time now for the Bloomberg Sports Update, and we bring in John Stashower. John.
Thanks, Karen. The hottest of tickets in New York. It's Game 3 of the NBA Finals tonight, but the Knicks hosting the Spurs in New York leading the series 2-0. Stacey King, who won three NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls and was a very popular color man for Bulls TV, passed away. He was only 59. Alex Zverev at 29 won his first Grand Slam tennis title.
It took five sets, but he beat Flavio Caboli at the French Open. J.T. Poston won Memorial Golf in Ohio. Nellie Kord of the U.S. Women's Open in L.A. That's your Bloomberg Sports Update.
Thanks, John. And that's news when you want it with Bloomberg News Now. I'm Karen Moscow.

Chapter 4: What role does Hezbollah play in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran?
I'm not in a position to be inheriting any classic cars. You?
No, but my brother did inherit my non-classic car when I moved to New York, so. Ew. He still has not paid me for it. Coming for you, Joey. The Bloomberg This Weekend Podcast.
