Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
Hello, I'm Stephen Carroll. I'm in Brussels, where many of Europe's biggest decisions get made.
And I'm Caroline Hepke in London. We're the hosts of the Bloomberg Daybreak Europe podcast.
We're up early every weekday, keeping an eye on what's happening across Europe and around the world.
We do it early so the news is fresh, not recycled, and so you know what actually matters as the day gets going.
From Brussels, I'm following the politics, policy and the people shaping the European Union right now.
And from London, I'm looking at what all that means for markets, money and the wider economy.
We've got reporters across Europe and around the globe feeding in as stories break.
So whether it's geopolitics, energy, tech or markets, you're hearing it while it happens.
It's smart, calm and to the point.

Chapter 2: What are the key results from the Texas Republican primary runoff?
Investors are betting the AI boom is going to lead to a sustained revaluation of the industry. Micron Technology was the best performing stock in the S&P 500 in yesterday's session, finishing up more than 19%. It's up 213% this year, and it's now crossed above a market valuation of $1 trillion. It was joined by SK Hynix in that exclusive club.
Samsung Electronics hit that milestone earlier this month. Now, these are the three leading makers of high bandwidth memory with forecasts of memory shortages. Analysts say these companies will have remarkable pricing power over the world's largest tech companies. In New York, I'm John Tucker, Bloomberg Radio.
Time now for the Bloomberg Sports Update, and we bring in John Stashower. John.
Thanks, Karen. Last two years, the Oklahoma City Thunder have only lost nine times in the playoffs, and each time they've followed the loss with a win. They got blown out in Game 4 at San Antonio. They came home, beat the Spurs 127-114. Shea Gilgis-Alexander scored 32, and the Thunder now lead the series three games to two. A sweep of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Vegas beat Colorado 2-1, swept the West Final from the Avalanche, who had the best record in the regular season. A couple of upsets at the French Open. Jess Pagula and Daniil Medvedev both lost. That's your Bloomberg Sports Update.
Thanks, John. And that's news when you want it with Bloomberg News Now. I'm Karen Moscow.
I'm Nathan Hager, and this is Bloomberg.
