Novo Nordisk is suing hims and hers health, even after the telehealth firm scrapped plans to sell a copycat version of Novo's Wigobi weight loss pill. Bloomberg Intelligence Senior Pharma Analyst Sam Fazelli says that reversal is already a reprieve for Novo.
It could be a bigger reprieve if they decide to also not continue with the injectable version. That's a lot easier. There was a period where they were allowed to because there was lack of supply. Then the FDA, I think, didn't do much when supply came back on and the compounders still carried on.
Sam Fazelli with Bloomberg Intelligence. Hims and hers shares down 19%. Novo Nordisk shares more than 5% higher. President Trump is making another try at a nuclear agreement with Iran. He's going to talk it over on Wednesday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Natasha Hall is a Middle East analyst with Chatham House.
We have been talking about Iran limiting enrichment. Iran seems to be intransigent on this point. And then at the same time, Israel seems to have moved the goalposts. adding Iran's ballistic missile program to the negotiations framework.
Mideast analyst Natasha Hall on balance of power. Venezuelan authorities re-arrested Juan Pablo Guanipa just hours after they released him from prison, citing his failure to comply with imposed conditions. He's an ally of opposition leader Maria Karina Machado. The re-arrest may send mixed messages from the government, which had appeared to be complying with U.S.
demands, including the release of Venezuelan political prisoners. A Hong Kong court has sentenced former media mogul and pro-democracy activist Jimmy Lai to 20 years in prison for collusion and sedition charges under a 2020 Beijing-imposed national security law. The sentence has prompted intense international scrutiny and Western governments calling for Lai's release on humanitarian grounds.
