News when you want it with Bloomberg News Now. I'm Karen Moscow. The U.S. is amassing its biggest military force in the Middle East since 2003 as it pushes for a deal with Iran. President Trump said Iran has 10 to 15 days at most to strike a deal over its nuclear program. Speaking to reporters on Air Force One, the president was asked what happens if no agreement is reached.
I'm not going to talk to you about that, but we're either going to get a deal or it's going to be unfortunate for them.
Oil trading near a six-month high over the heightened tensions. Checking NYMEX crude oil, it is at $66.36 a barrel, while Brent crude is at $71.39. President Trump is declaring victory in the fight over cost of living concerns. He paid a visit yesterday to the crucial battleground state of Georgia.

And this signals a new approach by the president. He denied problems with his economic agenda while touting stock market gains to insist that his tariff plans have been a success. And taking a look at futures this morning, they are slipping as traders assess the potential impact of conflict in the Middle East and await a slate of economic data. Oil retreating from the highest level in six months. S&P futures down about two-tenths of a percent. So are Nasdaq futures. Dow futures down a tenth of a percent. And the 10-year Treasury yield, 4.06 percent.
