Chapter 1: What experiences shaped Matt Maher's perspective on creativity?
Listen, Luke, we know that we live in a world where everything is fake, fake food, fake clouds, fake news. Everything's fake. And you know what? You get tired of it. And you're just like, if I want to buy a shirt or something nice, can I just please give me something real? Quinns is an amazing company that does high quality everyday essentials.
So we're moving in, we're in spring here, moving into summer. Maybe you need to refresh that wardrobe so you're ready for the summer t-shirts, shorts. These are everyday essentials made from premium materials. Here's a chance to refresh your wardrobe for the summer at the price that's 50 to 60% less than similar brands. And we always ask, how do they do this, Nate?

I just don't think we understand how thin the veil is between heaven and earth. I think a lot of us feel like we come to Sunday and it's a pretty pedestrian 45 minutes to an hour. We got a cup of coffee, our kids are in childcare, you know, we sing songs, we hear a great sermon and that's it. But it's like, we're actually joining the worship of heaven.
So there's an opportunity for our imaginations to kind of be re-enchanted and reawakened.

Chapter 2: How does Matt connect his music to the stories of Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison?
And I was so inspired by the story and, um, that I kind of kept it in the back of my head. And I had no idea that about eight months later, I would be making my next album in that house, next to that land.
And the first night we moved my studio into that house, I wrote this song, because I really do think it's our obligation as believers to walk alongside people who are suffering and remind them of the hope and promises of God. This song's called Only Good Will Grow. Only good will grow, now and always Holy air to glow, never content Call this place hollow ground Nothing is forsaken now.
Only good will grow. Only light will shine on the sacred garden every season. Only good will grow. Only good will grow. all the joy and the pain times they change but the ties that will bind us remain only good will grow all the joy and the pain times they change but the ties that will bind us remain only good will grow only good will grow
