Chapter 1: What controversy is unfolding between Sean Payton and Bo Nix?
Is there controversy in Denver? I missed this in his press conference, Sean Payton's press conference a couple of days ago when he revealed that when Bo Nix had his surgery for the broken ankle, they learned that he was kind of, for lack of a better term, damaged goods.
Chapter 2: What did Sean Payton reveal about Bo Nix's injury?
They always find a little bit more when they go in, and it wasn't a matter of if, it was a matter of when. So it wasn't, because when you look at the play, you're trying to evaluate it. He said, uh, the doctor operating surgeon said that though, this was, this was going to happen, um, sooner than later.
Meaning their ankle was going to break. Cause he had a stable, wasn't stable. He might've had a spiral fracture or something in there that maybe they didn't notice. So Bo Nix then calls a conference call yesterday, uh, after this press conference, nothing predisposed, nothing that was there, uh, originally, um,
I might have gotten confused, but it was just a simple step with my foot up in the air. My body weight came down on it.
And then as he continued to talk, basically he says, Coach should zip his lip.
Didn't have any predisposed issues. Man, my ankles were feeling really good. I don't think he really should share how many surgeries I've had in the past. to be honest with you.
So this is the rage in Denver right now.
Yeah.
Well, then they fired their offensive coordinator. They'll elevate one of the guys on their staff, whether it be Davis webs, webs, or, uh, uh, His offensive lineman, was it Streif that he had in New Orleans that he won the Super Bowl with? He's also on that staff, and he's a rising star in the coaching ranks as well, former player for him. But, yeah, there's something goofy out there, man. Yeah.
Very interesting, though. I don't know.

Chapter 3: How did Bo Nix respond to Sean Payton's comments?
Fair enough. Well, Bill Cowher had been when he was a kid.
Yeah, exactly. Well, it took him a long time to change. He went down to Milledgeville and then everything changed after that. That's for sure. But he was the type that liked people to know he was playing hurt. Yeah, he, ugh, all the time. Like, yeah, you know, I'm just, you know, banged up a couple things. So, just dealing with. What are you dealing with?
Well, you know, back's been hurting a little bit. You know, I got this hamstring thing I'm dealing with. It's no big deal. I'll be fine. I'll be good. I'll be good. You know. But, you know, we play through these things. You know, sometimes you can't be, you know, yourself. You're saying that you were hurt. You weren't 100%. No, I was 100%. I was 100%. Just do a couple things.
Everybody does things throughout the year. Just a couple broken toes. You know, doctor said if this rib goes the wrong way and punctures my lung, then I could die out on the field. So, I mean, there's that too. Anyway.
Well, he laid it on the line for his team.
He certainly did.
And he wanted you to know it. Didn't Fernando Mendoza say he would die for his team on the field?

Chapter 4: What changes are happening in the Broncos' coaching staff?
Did he say that? Probably. Al, could you check that? I'll Google it. Yeah, Google will see if Fernando Mendoza. I thought I heard him say that.
All right.
That's the kind of quarterback you want. Lay it on the line, babe. Without a doubt. And the type that the Jets will not have because they will not have the number one pick, but the Raiders will. Knicks beat the Raptors last night as Mikael Bridges had a big night.
In the corner, call it. Into a crowd, out to Bridges. His three-pointer is good. Mikael Bridges cannot miss tonight. And the Knicks are up double digits.
He sounds like Sean McDonough. He really sounds like Sean McDonough. I think he's from that area. He's a young kid too, isn't he? Yeah, I'm pretty sure. But I think he's from the Boston area. I think he's good, man.
He's very good.

Chapter 5: How does Sean Payton's coaching style compare to other coaches?
I mean, if you sound like Sean McDonough, you're pretty good. Really good, actually.
Yeah. Tyler Murray is 34.
Chapter 6: What parallels are drawn between current players and past legends?
Okay, yeah. Good for him. Pretty good. Not too bad. You can't get one of these jobs. Yeah, I know. I agree.
Were you up for one of these?
Nope. I've never interviewed for anything. Really? Nope. Do you really try? I have not. I've said to Al, my one regret, and I'm not saying I would have gotten the job, but I think I could have gotten an interview, was when the radio job for the Knicks did open up. I didn't know who to call, and I never did anything. When was that?
It's a couple of times because they had Ed Cohen who got the job, and then sadly he had an issue with his voice. Now, he's back, I think, to full health, but he wound up losing the job because of his voice issues. There were two different times. Neither time. And I've got a guy sitting here that knows everybody at MSG. Well, you didn't ask me.
I know.
And by the way, I'm not blowing smoke up your butt either. I mean, you're really good. Thank you very much. I told you, I listened to a whole half of that Wisconsin game. I could tell you were annoyed. Well, when you're down 26 at halftime, it's not going great. Yeah, I could tell you were annoyed. I could hear it in your voice. Of course.
Because I sit next to you, and I know when you're annoyed, which is almost all the time. I am not.
No, it's not true. Come on now. Not true. What about that Seattle Mariners job that opened up baseball?
No, I just didn't do any baseball. You don't want to do baseball? I've never been interested in doing baseball. NBA? That's what you want? Yeah, I would love it. Yes, of course. Yeah. NBA or an NFL job, like a full, like, you know, the Compass Media Network's job is great. I've always wanted to do, like, a team, though. So. Like an NFL team. Yeah.

Chapter 7: What insights do the hosts provide on the Knicks' recent game?
No shipsticks? No, I don't think so. I can't do that. No. Sure you can. I'll go to practice. Sure you can. Well, the one day I, yes, there's one day I could potentially go in the afternoon. We'll see. Probably will. Yeah. But I haven't made that decision yet. You want to play like Bel Air, LA Country Club? What do you want to play? You know somebody? Yeah. I'll talk to you about it.
All right, sure. That would be fun. St. John's beat Butler 92-70, Seton Hall over Xavier 86-68. We'll have more sound from Cody Bellinger coming up next hour, but I can't get out of here without giving you the Big Islander-Ranger game.
And that was Brendan Burke on MSG.
Islanders went 5-2 last night as they continue to play good hockey. The Rangers, we know the deal with Artemi Panarin. Just one on, he's not playing and they're going to trade him as we now know. Here's Mika Zibanejad learning about that going down yesterday.
Going into tonight's game, I think it was just... getting the info that he wasn't playing right before the game. You don't have a lot of time to think about that kind of stuff.
We're all fragile. Mike Zbigniewicz. It happens. It's business. You know what I'm saying? By the way, your ex-Devil had a night last night. Oh, Andre Palat, who was beating your team.
When we played Jersey against Rangers, it was very similar. So I'm excited we could play today and tomorrow. And, you know, always when you can beat Rangers, it's a good day. Yeah, okay. Oh, you beat the Rangers.
Yes, okay, great, okay. Anytime we beat Rangers, those sissies. Yeah, he had his first goal. He had a goal last night.
Yep, so that was pretty good. They'll play again tonight at Madison Square Garden in the Devil's Home for Nashville.
