Chapter 1: What criticism did Cam Jordan have for the Jets?
We're kind of in between the NHL coming back tomorrow. The NBA was relatively quiet last night, so there was a couple of good games. Reaction, though, from the U.S. winning the gold is still coming in. You do have NHL teams getting back together. Paul Maurice, the head coach of the Panthers, he is a Canadian. He was asked, how was it watching that game on Sunday morning?
The only really emotional time for me is I didn't want... somebody to score when one of our guys was in the penalty box. When Sam Bennett got the four-man, I'm going, not here. You can win the game, fine, but not when Sam's in the box. We've got to go up to Canada two or three more times. I think this year, I just didn't want to have to deal with that. Well, they won't have to deal with that.
That's exactly what, Jack, you said when you were sitting in the penalty box. I didn't want to be the face of the ugly American on Barstool.
That's exactly right. And then the other one, this continues to be a topic, at least it was brought up to him again, or he brought it up and then they furthered it, but he said props to their goalie.
Certainly Connor Hellebuck's play, happy for him. He's had a lot of big nights and is a big part of the successes the Winnipeg Jets have had, but on that stage for him, And the most impactful player in the game, really. Good for him.
And then the follow-up was not winning the big game, and he would go on to say that's nonsense because you win a ton of big games and nothing bigger than Sunday.
So, Jerry, I don't know if you saw, but in the break, CBS Sports Network put up the video of you and I interviewing Jack Hughes right after he got drafted by the Devils before he ever played an NHL game. And it's in the summertime, and the two of us are very tan. It was Boomer Vacation Day, and Jack Hughes... He looks like he's 13. This is incredible.
Now, I remember this, and I remember him looking young, but I didn't remember him looking that young.
Well, because now we have the vision in our mind of without the tooth the other night. Yeah. With the uniform on, and that is just, wow, does he look young. I remember we had Nico Heischer in here as well.

Chapter 2: What is the latest on the NHL and NFL schedules?
San Antonio has won 9 in a row. Spring baseball, Mets over the Blue Jays, 4-3. Clay Holmes threw, I believe, into the third inning. Here was Holmes on his first spring outing.
It was good. It was good to, you know, feel the... Just the competition, the game speed, and just be back at it.
He is going to be part of the World Baseball Classics. He was essentially recruited by Andy Pettit, so good to get out there today. The Mets will take on the Astros. You've got the Yankees beating the Pirates 6-2. The Yankees play Toronto coming up later this afternoon. Speaking of the Yankees, a former Yankee, A-Rod, is back in the news.
Not of anything he did recently, but what he did in the past. This was on the San Francisco Giants broadcast on Sunday as Jeff Kent is in the booth.
a rod who was he was your size and he came in uh hard on you you know you survived it but i think he got banged up a little bit i think he would have the deal for them yeah i did he tore my knee up he went she slipped and rolled his fat ass past the base the son of a bitch good for him yeah there you go i mean that that's the jeff kent reputation right there by the way that's how i fly that's how i felt about your guy yeah but you do but you were wrong who's your guy
I felt bad about that.
Yeah, yeah. John Randall. John Randall. John Randall was going after his knees, but it wasn't.
So much like you carried that around for years and years and years. I mean, that's John Miller who then says to Kent. Not that you've thought about it much since then.
That's half empty right there, John.

Chapter 3: What ideas are being proposed for changing the NBA 3-point line?
I mean, it's essentially turned into pro wrestling now. And there's no current boxers that, I shouldn't say no, there's not enough current boxers now that are actually fighting that people pay attention to. So then you put on these disgusting displays of nonsense with these guys that are over the hill and retired, like Mike Tyson and Jake Paul and these guys, and it's just a joke.
They don't really try.
Is it poor marketing at this point, or is it there's too much to watch? With boxing?
Yeah. I don't think there are any main boxers. That's what I'm saying. There's nobody. I mean, there are a couple lighter weight classes. There are some top-end boxers, but there's no heavyweights to speak of.
Which is a big problem. That's why it was all about Deontay Wilder. He was an American heavyweight champ, and there were other guys that were there. But, of course, they never got the Joshua fight done. And there was him and Tyson Fury. There were three good fights there that people paid attention to. But... Also, there's too many governing bodies. You don't know who's the champion or what.
I mean, people don't believe half of the results sometimes. I mean, it took many, many years to get here, but we're here now. Well, we're here, all right. And then UFC has taken over, too. People want to see combat sports and people beating the snot out of each other. They go there. And that's where I say there's so many choices now. Yeah. Well, there you go.

Chapter 4: What insights were shared about the Jets' ongoing struggles?
All right, thanks, Jerry. Let's go to Dean in Florida quickly. What's going on, Dean? What's up, buddy? Boomer and Geo USA. Oh, yeah. Yeah, Dean. Good morning. What do you got for us?
Good morning, buddy. What a crappy time to be Canadians. They lost the World Series. They lost the Stanley Cup. They lost the women's gold and the men's gold. Yeah, that's true. Canada can suck it.
Yeah, that's right, Dean. On top of it, they live in Canada, which is really the worst part of all of it. There you go. There's an American for you, Dean, in Florida. Suck it, Canada!
