I saw Suffolk County Police got a bunch of those catalytic converter dudes out there, shut down the big ring of the catalytic converter ripoff people that were out there in Suffolk, and they got them. A lot of that crap going around here. Big bust there.
Can't hang on to those catalytic converters. I saw a very unique interaction down on Canal Street. Actually, Lispinard leaving the other day. Some guy pulled out what looked to be like a Chanel bag out of like some butt, out of some pouch, and was trying to sell it to a couple of what looked like tourists, probably from, I don't know, Nebraska.
Okay.
And I could not believe the amount of counterfeit crap that was on the street. So that's all back now, huh? Oh, it's as bad as I've ever seen. All you have to do is go out Canal Street, go out. Manhattan Bridge, you'll see it.
Yeah, I don't go that way. I don't like that way. It makes me nervous. It is like a bazaar over there. Yeah, it makes me nervous. A lot of people running across the streets and stuff. I don't need that. If I have to do it, I'll do it, but I'm usually a Williamsburg guy.
But, you know, so Lispinard goes parallel to Canal. It's just south of Canal. Yeah. I couldn't believe what Lispinard looked like. Oh, so now they've moved over? Well, I think it's not that they moved over. I think there's no more room on Canal Street that they've now.

Who's they? The people in power. The people that get elected and then the people who get appointed. They want counterfeit bags being sold? I guess they do. They don't want to do anything about it. And the police aren't doing anything about it.

Yeah. You know? It does. It's unfortunate because it really does. You know, it's kind of like the everyday life challenges that you have to face and There you go. Yeah. I don't know. I mean, it's just unbelievable what you see. You know what I'm saying?

You guys ain't kidding with the counterfeit bags, man. It's not just Canal Street. Whenever we take our daughter, like we go, my daughter's 12, right? 12 going on 17th.
Anytime we go into the city to see, like, a show or we go out, like, we have to do the whole run in Times Square, and we stop at all the difference, and we try to find the most bougie counterfeit bag that looks like the super expensive. I mean, it's everywhere. It is, like, back in full force. And I don't think the brands care because it's just advertising. Like, my wife and I are amazed.
You can order stuff on Amazon. You can order fakes on Amazon and Sheen now. It's rampant, but it's every time we go in.
I mean, I guess the argument against it would be like, okay, if you're buying the knockoff, then you're not going to spend the money on the real one. But I would imagine the brands would care. It would piss me off if I was CEO of something or other.
I think so, but I think it actually – I think it's just a boon for their business. And my thing is, too, is who the hell knows if the big brands – aren't just making those knockoffs to take the money anyway. A lot of big brands do that.
