Chapter 1: What shocking revelation involves Steve Tisch and Jeffrey Epstein?
the big football story and was off the field on Friday when the rest of the Epstein files were released to the public by the DOJ and many, many familiar names in there across politics and entertainment and everything else. And Giants co-owner Steve Tisch named in there.
There were emails back and forth between him and Jeffrey Epstein talking about women and, you know, women he might see or take to a show. Steve Tisch relays in a statement that these were conversations about adult women. He had never gone to the island.
Chapter 2: What details are revealed about the emails between Tisch and Epstein?
He had other conversations with Jeffrey Epstein, and we will see now what the NFL decides to do about it, if anything, but just crazy going through all that stuff and seeing all the names and the people that were involved. You'd heard a lot about it. We had drips and drabs, but this was the...
Chapter 3: What was Steve Tisch's response to the allegations?
This was it. This was the big one. Good morning, Boomer. How are you?
Yeah, the big one in sports, and I'm doing well. And one of the reasons for that, obviously, is because Steve Tish is an owner of the New York Giants. You know, the interesting thing is if you go back to 2006 is when Epstein first got pinched for all of this stuff.
Chapter 4: How does the NFL plan to address the situation involving Tisch?
And he got basically a plea deal for 13 months. And then 2019, you come back, and that's when the Miami Herald investigative reporting ended up really getting into this whole thing and ended up with these major charges where supposedly Jeffrey Epstein kills himself here in jail. And the thing about this is that... So it's 2006 when he has first gotten... It's got people get wind of it.
Chapter 5: What historical context is provided about Epstein's past legal issues?
And then it's 2013 when Steve Tisch is basically emailing him. So seven years after the initial. Sure. But it was six years before the next arrest. Yes. So he was like right in the middle of this. And he obviously invited him to some giant games and stuff. It seemed like Jeffrey and didn't seem like we all know what kind of guy Jeffrey Epstein is. The pig.
And the fact of the matter is, is he had access to major people, major money through his initial job at Bear Stearns.
Chapter 6: Why is Tisch's association with Epstein considered controversial?
And he turned that into this web of people that all had influence in different areas, whether it be in the American government, whether it be in, I would say, movies or entertainment. And he was running in those circles with Ghislaine Maxwell. And Ghislaine Maxwell is in jail. Epstein was in jail, killed himself, but I'm still wondering why anybody else isn't arrested. Yeah, I'm not sure.
I don't understand why all of it... Why are those two the only two that were arrested and other people who participated... With things on the island have not been arrested. Now, nobody has accused Steve Tisch of being on the island. He was never on the island.
Nobody has come out as far as any of these documents say accused Steve Tisch of doing anything unlawful other than having tawdry emails back and forth with pedophile.
Which is right. It's a horrible thing. So this is where it's almost impossible to talk about these things without enraging one person or another. But this is how the NFL has to look at it. And this is what in the conversation that I need to have this morning about it.
Chapter 7: What implications does this situation have for NFL ownership?
And no one is saying or excusing Steve Tisch from emailing with Jeffrey Epstein, who back in 2006 all the way through 2008 was convicted for this. And yes, it was a big controversial thing that he didn't get time in jail and it was a work release program and all of that. But everybody knew at that point, if you were associating with Jeffrey Epstein, what he had been convicted of.
So the fact that you were having these emails, that's guilt by association. I've ever heard guilt by association. But... And it's a horrible look, and it's a terrible PR. It's something he's never going to be able to wash off of him. But now it's like, if you're the NFL, is there enough there where you have to come in and say, you got to sell your 45% because this, this, this, this, and this.
Do they have to do their own investigation?
Chapter 8: What questions remain unanswered regarding the Epstein files?
And as I thought about this the entire weekend, I don't know if they can do anything about it. And I know that sounds crazy to people because we're talking about Jeffrey Epstein and communicating with Jeffrey Epstein. And we're talking about women that Steve Tisch and Jeffrey Epstein are talking about. And there's something in the email.
It's like, oh, they're worried about the age gap and they're going to go to a Broadway show or whatever. I mean, it looks horrible. But Steve Tisch is saying adult women. We don't have any other proof of that. We don't know that he was at the island. We don't know the age of the person.
He claims he was not at the island. So what can the NFL do? There's nobody accusing him of anything. You read the emails. There's no third person accusing him of anything. You know, I mean... And by the way, you know, even though Jeffrey Epstein was arrested, he was never convicted because he killed himself or somebody killed him.
The second time, yes.
Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm saying. The second time. I mean, you know, so we all know what... We all like to think we know what's going on down there. And there's been this feverish pitch to get as much information as possible. And with that news dump on Friday, people have been calling through this looking for famous names.
And, of course, you know, Steve's comes up and some of the emails that come up and they're tawdry. There's no two ways about it. But, you know, it's interesting because Roger Goodell, where is he or where is he going today? He's going out to San Francisco. And either tomorrow or Wednesday, he'll give the State of the NFL.
I think it's Tuesday. I think it is.
It is Tuesday. So he'll give the State of the NFL speech like he does every year. And I'm sure the last thing he expected to have. on the docket to have to talk about or answer questions about is about one of his owners that is caught up in these emails with the Epstein file dump on Friday.
I'm sure he's also going to be asked about the lack of blackhead coaches being hired in this cycle when there were 10 openings. So there are going to be a lot of things that, you know, the commissioner is going to have to deal with and deflect from. So that's going to be interesting. You know, the other thing, too, is when I ā
