Hey, guys. How are you? What's up, man? I just wanted to follow up on your story about getting tickets like you got for the Vikings game. Yeah. My brother and I, and, Buma, you'll love this as a former Jet. We used to live in Miami back in the early 80s. And we always used to go to the orange bowl for the jet games, but then they started to have the games on Saturdays and we're Sabbath observers.
So all we wanted to always do is just go to see the jets play. But every year we weren't able to go. So my brother who's now an attorney wrote a letter to the late Joe Robbie and explained that there's so many, you know, people from New York that moved down that are Jewish, they can't go to the games. Is it possible to, you know, have a game on a different day on Sunday?
So sure enough, Joe Robbie had the Monday night football game with the Jets and the Dolphins. We got tickets and they invited us up to the Monday night football booth where we met Howard Cosell and Gifford and Dandy Don Meredith and all that stuff. Wow. You know what? Sometimes those things work, guys. They really do.
Yeah, I mean, that's a great story. And, man, you want to talk about a piece of football history, to call Terrence in that Monday night football booth with those superstars?
Yeah, you know, it is amazing that the NFL owners do have input into their schedules. Yeah. And they know who their fan base is and who comes and buys tickets. And when a certain team comes in, do they bring a big... Group of fans. And so the Jet fan that has moved down to Florida is going to go see the Jets at Joe Robbie Stadium or whatever it's called now. Hard Rock. Hard Rock, right.
So, I mean, you know, you want to stay away from the Saturdays. You want Sundays and you want Monday nights. Of course. Yeah. Yeah. So, yeah. So that does happen. And, you know, they try to make sure that that ā works out for all the different teams wherever they can. And sometimes there's always going to be a little bit of a mistake where a portion of the fan base is going to get ticked off.
