And then he also dropped a free Wesley at the end of one of his interviews the other day, which for people who don't know, which is I understand a lot of people, Wesley Bryan is a guy who's a big YouTube golf personality who got suspended from the PGA Tour for doing a scramble video for Live Golf and with the Live Golfers.
So they suspended him, and he wants to get back in now that Brooks is back in and Patrick Reed is back in. So he goes free Wesley. I'm like, this guy is... He's not as locked in as he used to be. He's not the biggest, well, he is the biggest star, but he's not the most important player on his team any longer. No, but the numbers are still, like, he's still great.
But I think he's done everything that he wanted to do. He also said in a recent interview that, which I disagree with, he goes, when we came back 3-1 and beat the Warriors, that's when I knew I was the greatest ever. So if he's saying stuff like that, that means he's accomplished everything in his mind. You don't get the sense that he would want to have the retirement tour?
I feel like, no, I don't. I mean, I know what you mean and why you have that logic because he seems like that type of guy with the attention. But I feel like he's gotten so much attention everywhere he's gone that he doesn't need even more of it. And he's done the brawny thing already. True. He was able to do that. Just a whole other team and a whole other thing.

He just seems like a guy that was the famous Chuck Knoll saying, if you start thinking about retirement, you're already retired. Yeah. I really do believe that that's what's going on with him. If he was a shell of himself, I could see it. I don't see this. I mean, I'm not watching every game for sure, but I see enough highlights. I see his numbers.
You see nights like last night, and he's still great. I know he's still great, but I could see him. I feel like at the end of the year, he'll say something more along the lines of, they're putting a golf ball up next to LeBron on CBS Sports Network, I'm telling you.
But I could see him saying something along the lines, I'd rather walk away knowing I had something left in the tank and I could still play with these guys as opposed to being out there and not belonging. Okay, that's fair. What if I posed to him, come to Cleveland one final year, win a championship, retire? And right off into the sunset. And he'd go, is James Harden still there?
Well, I mean, I don't know. I don't even know if they're close or not. I really have no idea at this point. But obviously, James Harden, he's incapable of winning a championship. Especially if Cleveland doesn't win this year. I mean, how close are you going to get? You know, we talk about wasting the Aaron Judge years. Donovan Mitchell's not 35. I know that.
But at some point, you want to break through. And if you don't break through this year, it certainly seems like it's Detroit and New York, in my opinion. Boston's right there as well. Cleveland's there too. But, you know, is LeBron to come home one final time with Donovan Mitchell and a really talented team, try and win it one... And you're not coming for three years.
You're coming for one final... I don't know. I... If you told me he retired, I wouldn't be shocked, but I also would not be surprised at all if he was somewhere else next year. Yeah. I mean, it's impossible for me to climb into the guy's brain. I mean, there's probably... I don't know if there's someone out there I have less in common with than LeBron James. Oh, sure.
I mean, but it's hard for me to... To get into his brain. But I think just from hearing him talk about that second run in Cleveland and winning that championship, I could also see him saying, I did what I needed to do for Cleveland. And now all I can do is go back there and not match that. So this was the plan. It was to go back to Cleveland, win a championship, end up...
with the Lakers because all great players seem to somehow end up with the Lakers. In his mind, he won that bubble championship, so he got him a championship in L.A., and there's a banner up there. So I really feel like he is winding down, and this is going to be it. You might be right. You might be right. But I could— He might not even know, too, by the way.
Because the other thing we don't think about, we see these guys on the court and how great they are, but the work that they have to put in all year round. That is the stuff when you talk to these guys that get close to retirement in pro sports. The games are great. Being in the games and being around your guy, it's the training camp, and it's this, and it's the working out, and it's all of that.
