Chapter 1: Why haven't the Jets and Giants hired their offensive coordinators yet?
February 3rd is the day after Groundhog Day, and we still don't have coordinators for the Jets and the Giants. Now, the Giants I can understand because they had Todd Munkin as their offensive coordinator, and all of a sudden he ends up getting the Baltimore Ravens job. I mean, the Cleveland Browns job. So now they had to scramble and figure it out who's going to be the offensive coordinator.
We've got to go through all these interviews and try to figure this thing out. But the Jets, at this point, with all the people that they have talked to, and they hired their defensive coordinator like the Giants, then they got close to Frank Reich. I thought they were close to Frank Reich, but now they're pulling all these other guys in like Greg Roman or whatever the hell else is happening.
Something has to happen this week. And it better happen before Friday because all these other coaches are joining staffs.
Chapter 2: What challenges did the Giants face with their offensive coordinator search?
And I feel like the Jets and Giants are behind. And the Jets, it's a bigger deal to me because I trust John Harbaugh. I don't necessarily trust Aaron Glenn and what's going on over there. Like, they'll figure that out. You got the CEO head coach. But this is just another one of these things that is driving me crazy about the Jets offseason. Hire a guy.
Are they going to hire your buddy or they're not going to hire your buddy? Are we going to see a press conference with your friends or not?
Jesus. Good morning. I mean, good morning. Yeah, I'm doing well. I didn't realize you were this all this worked up for this.
I want you know what it was. I woke up. You ever have a dream and then you wake up and like the reality, it didn't happen. And sometimes it'll be like when you're a teenager, you you spend a night with whatever movie star you were thinking about. You wake up like, oh, that didn't really happen. Well, that's too bad.
Chapter 3: Who are the potential candidates for the Jets' offensive coordinator position?
Or you won the lottery in your dream, and you woke up and it didn't happen. So I had a dream that we had Frank Reich in studio, and we were talking about him being the offensive coordinator. It was this great interview. It was the coolest thing. I was like, this is awesome. This is going to be great for the Jets. And I woke up and said, oh, it didn't happen. Yeah. Didn't happen.
They still don't have an offensive forward.
Well, you know, hopefully all this will be over with before the week's out. You know, hopefully for both teams. And I have a feeling that things will move relatively quickly. What does that mean? Because it hasn't moved quickly. Yeah, but, you know, they're getting there. They're getting there. Who's getting there? They're getting there. Who's they?
Chapter 4: What is the significance of hiring an offensive coordinator quickly?
The Jets and... Somebody? I think things will move rather quickly. I do. I just have a feeling.
You're like a murder suspect.
Well, I can't. Go in depth with all the... Machinations. Okay. Machinations is a good word. I like that word. I will say that there are a lot of people involved here. There are a lot of decisions to be made, and I think most of them probably are made, I think. So hopefully we will have clarity over the next... I don't know. 24 to 48 hours.
Okay. So you're telling me that... I haven't told you anything. No, no, just now. I know you didn't tell me anything, but I'm saying what I heard was that there's a good chance by tomorrow at this time, 24 hours from now, we're talking about who the Jets hired? Because that would make me feel a lot better.
Well, you saw who they interviewed yesterday. Greg Roman, Darryl Bell. In other words, it's getting close. It's getting very, very, very close. And I would hope that, yes, within the next, I don't know, I'll say 24 hours, hopefully they'll have a decision. See, now I don't even know how to read that. Well, you know, you open the show, you were screaming and yelling.
I was shocked that you were screaming and yelling 30 seconds into the show. And I'm happy you were because you're passionate about this and it's driving you crazy. I'm just here to pacify that intensity a little bit by saying just give it, give it. Give it a day or two.
See, okay, and that's fine, and a day would be great. Two days wouldn't be as great, but tomorrow would be great.
Okay, there's a lot of moving parts to all of this that I think I'm reading through all these lines, all of these different articles that have been written, and I do believe that something is about to break. One way or the other.
What article are you reading where something's about to break? Because it's been radio silent outside of the fact that.

Chapter 5: What did the hosts dream about regarding Frank Reich?
And I know it's very frustrating for a lot of people that are covering the team.
Yeah, I mean, these guys, I am a big fan of the Jets beat I know you are. I like those guys a lot. I know you do. And I've been following them, and they have to be completely confused because there hasn't been a lot out of them recently. Now, there was some juice, obviously, from Connor Hughes early on about Frank, and I've seen stuff from Costello.
I've seen stuff from Cimini, but nothing really definitive.
What did I say about Connor Hughes last week? That he was on it.
Yeah. And he really appreciated that. He was on with... Evan and Tiki and Sean shortly after that. And he was like, oh, Boomer's really in my good book right now with all the nice things he was saying about me. I mean, I don't know.
I'm just saying the truth about him in regards to one situation.
Yeah. Well, he was happy about that. Oh, good.
I'm glad.
And I will say that he was on it. Well, he needs to step up again. This is a what did you do for me lately business. I need to hear something today. Yeah, I know. Well, maybe you will. Maybe you will hear something. Well, it's definitely not going to happen before the show is over because it never happens. It never happens. Maybe the 10-0-2, Sean will break in with that glass breaking thing.

Chapter 6: What insights do the hosts have about the Jets' hiring timeline?
Wow, three weeks ago you found out. What? You know, the other thing they do, Al, after this is after they hammer him with it, they're like, tell me when you found out. And then they'll just leave. Right. And let him sit there. All right. And then they'll leave the room and let him sit there.
That was really strange.
Then another guy comes in. That another guy comes in and what?
And another guy comes in and says the same exact, asks the same questions and says it the same way, but he's fresh. You're starting to get exhausted. The new guy comes in and he's like this.
All right, this is insane. I mean, just a Jets offensive coordinator. Now what?
Now what? Come on, man. You'll feel much better if you tell us. You know what I mean? Yeah. I mean, we all know what's going on here.
Can I get a cup of coffee? 720.
720?
I said I'm not telling you anything until 721.
