Chapter 1: What gossip connects Gio to the cast of Summer House?
The pop culture story of the day yesterday actually has a Boomer and Geo tie-in in the way.
All right, I want to hear it.
So you remember way back... I was really into the show Summer House.
Yes.
And one of the cast members on Summer House, which is a Bravo show where a bunch of 20-somethings to now they're in their 30s. One of them's even in their 40s. It's been going on for a while. They work in the city and then they go out to the Hamptons or they have a house in Montauk, whatever it is, for the summer. Then they party and they drink and they bang each other and there's drama, right?
So... One of the cast members on that show went to high school with my wife.

Chapter 2: What is the premise of the Summer House reality show?
And they had still been in contact, whatever, and I ended up texting the guy. So during the pandemic, when nothing's going on, we had the guy Carl Radke on the show. And at that time, he was drinking. Now he's a sober guy, and you were telling him, hey, drunken stupid's no way to go through life, Carl. And you guys kind of got along.
It was a funny thing. Yes.
And I got you to maybe watch an episode or two, and then you were done with it, which is fine. And then after that time I had him on the air, me... Chris Mercadante, Carl Radke, and a man named Kyle Cook, who was heavily involved in this drama. Kyle Cook had a phone call to try to get their beverage that they were launching, Loverboy, to advertise, but we were having no live events.
So they were like, ah, we got it because it was COVID. It's like, we're having no live events. We like to have these live events. You know, when you guys start doing live events, we'll pick it up, and we never talk to them again.
So I was in that world there for a little bit, and I see yesterday, and I stopped watching the show because I felt like I got too old for it, but Gina's still into the show, that there was one of these love, not even a triangle, it's like a love square because there's four people involved. So Kyle, who I spoke to, was part of Carl's friend.
Yes, yes.
Kyle was married to a woman named Amanda, who they'd been together for like 10 years. And they were married. So you got them. Then you got two other people in the house. This guy, West Wilson, who... Does a... There's Amanda.

Chapter 3: How did Gio's wife know a cast member from Summer House?
Look at these guys. There's Amanda. This guy, Wes Wilson, who actually does a podcast with Sophie Cunningham of the WNBA. Yep. He's involved in sports some way. I actually saw him on Zach Gelb. So anyway, there's Kyle and Amanda. So then now you got Wes Wilson and this woman, Ciara, in the house.
Not Russ Wilson, Ciara.
No, no, no. But she's very, very attractive. This Ciara as well. That's Wes Wilson in the middle. There's Amanda.
Wes Wilson looks a little like Jackson Dart.
You can see that. Yeah, he's got that mustache, but Jackson does not. Yeah, the hair. So anyway. So you got these two that are like together, Sierra and Wes Wilson, but they're in love with each other, but they're not, and they never get off the whatever. It's just one of those things, but they really care about one another. Amanda and Sierra, best friends. Wes and Kyle, very good friends.
Kyle and Amanda get divorced.
Okay.
Guess who gets together?
Amanda and Wes. Damn right. Yeah, okay. That's natural. Seems natural to me.

Chapter 4: What drama unfolded involving Kyle Cook and Amanda?
Okay, well, but it's good for the show then.
Oh, it's great for the show.
Yeah, that's what they want. That's why these people are on the show. Isn't that the idea about the show? Of course. Yeah, I mean, so now something comes out of it that is actual real. Yeah. And now everybody's bitching about it?
No, nobody's bitching about it. They're eating it up.
Oh, that's what I'm saying.
They're eating it up, but they got opinions. They're eating it up. That's the point. Because they feel like they know these people, you know? It's like one of those things. Yep. It's like, let's see. It's like if Gina and I got divorced and then Jerry got with her. You know? Yeah. You're like, what are you doing? You know what I mean? That's sort of what it would be like.
Trying to give you like a... I know.
Trying to give you one of those. I understand what you're saying. Yes, I understand it. I understand why people are reacting to it. And by the way, but this is why these people are on these shows, though. Well, not...
Yes and no. I do think that this was one of those things that wasn't supposed to. I don't think this is a fake thing. I think this is a real thing. I think it's a home run for the show. Probably. Like the Vanderpump issues that they had, it's definitely a home run for the show. The Vanderpump rules had a whole thing like this. It was a huge deal. But Dave Portnoy gets in the middle of this, too.

Chapter 5: How do the relationships in Summer House create tension?
What's going on, guys? Fucking hats. Right. Shot a 102 out there today. We're in a different part of our life.
Right, right. Right, exactly. But we did get an invite out there. Probably should have taken advantage of that at the time. Looking back now.
Yeah, so was that pre-COVID?
No, it was post-COVID. I think we ended up... Talking to them during COVID.
Oh, during COVID, okay.

Chapter 6: What are the implications of the love square in Summer House?
And then we got invited post-COVID. Okay. And we just didn't end up going.
See, that's the demarcation point right there. It's, you know, pre- and post-COVID, right?
Pre- and post-COVID. Yeah. Pre- and post-COVID is right. Billy's calling from Five Towns. What's going on, Billy?
Yeah, good morning, guys. Hey, man. Yeah, listen, I want to talk about this stupid thing, friends, girlfriends. Yeah. And ex-girlfriends, ex-wives. Yeah. Back in the 70s and 80s, I was basically a man whore. And I thought nothing of it. Yeah. So... I just wanted to put that out there that this is nothing new.
Well, it's not. We understand. It's nothing new.
I'm so glad that you put that out there.
Yeah, that you were a man whore. Did you lose a lot of relationships with friends during this whole thing? No.
Maybe one or two.
Oh, okay. All right. Well, good for you, Billy. He's out there banging his friend's ex-girlfriends and everything's fine. Oh, there you go. Man whore Billy from Five Towns. I'm glad he put it out there. Yeah, absolutely. Let's go to Brian in Northport. What's going on, Brian?

Chapter 7: How do viewers react to the relationships in reality shows?
It was like a ghost fart, right? And then I got up, and I was like, God, that was weird. Like, why would a man ever sit? It's the greatest gift that God gave man. My son at four years old was like, Can I go pee in the backyard? I was like, yes, yes, go, go. Yeah, well, I mean, yeah.
Brian, of course, if you're outside, of course, yes. I think if you listen to most guys who called in and said that they actually sit down, they do it for a reason, and that's not to annoy their partner.
Yeah.
And when you hear that guy call in and his young son at the age of 12 says, I just don't want to make a mess for my sister. Obviously, they're sharing bathrooms.
Yeah, which I don't understand. Either put on the light and pee like you normally do, or if you make a mess, clean it up. Sitting and peeing is not an option. Well, sitting and peeing reduces the need to clean it up. I suppose. By the way, I think CeeLo had a situation like this where he took his friend's ex-girlfriend he's now married to. Pretty sure he did, right? That was many years ago.
I'd like to know the statute of limitations on that. Yeah. I've talked to him about it on the air.
Oh, you have?
Yeah. It was a long time ago.
Okay.
