Chapter 1: What led to Tiger Woods' recent DUI arrest?
We see the news of Tiger Woods and the crash, the rollover crash, and then find out that he is arrested for DUI once again. And even though it hasn't come out officially, I think we all have made the assumption that this is pain pills once again because he did blow a 0.0 BAC, blood alcohol content, He was arrested for DUI several years ago. Same situation. No alcohol in his system.
Failing the field sobriety test. Getting arrested. So this is the second time this has happened. Obviously he had that horrible car crash as well.
Chapter 2: How does pain pill addiction relate to Tiger Woods' situation?
Back in, what was that, 2021 at the Genesis. It's a tragic story with him. And, you know, there's... Several ways to look at these things, and people are going to want to chastise him for getting in a car as they should when he's under the influence, but he's also someone who's dealing with a severe addiction he's not able to get a handle on.
And I think that because the pressure that he had to get in that TGL finale, because that was his thing and his team was in the final, and he felt like he had to play in that.
Yeah.
He geared up, but he was also trying to give it a shot at the Masters and everything else, and he pushed his body too far when he wasn't ready, and he was in extreme, extreme pain, and he went back to, unfortunately, what is old faithful for him, which is a lot of pain pills, and then decided to make a terrible decision and get in the car, and this is what you have. So...
Uh, it's, it just, it, it sucks to see the downfall continue for him. But I mean, at this point I, you know, he's, he's in his fifties. He, I, him trying to play golf at a high level is what led to this again. So I would not, if I were him, I would seriously consider just, I'm going to be Tiger Woods and I'm not going to golf.
You know, he has had seven back surgeries. And if you know anybody in your life that has had seven back surgeries, you know the pain that they're in. I've had two people dealing with back surgeries. One has made it and one unfortunately has not made it.

Chapter 3: What previous incidents have occurred in Tiger Woods' career?
And I think that when you undergo those back surgeries, you are in enormous amount of pain. They give you pain pills. They relieve the pain. They make you feel better. And you end up becoming addicted to these pain pills. I'm assuming that this is basically the path that Tiger Woods has been on. You may say that it may be the pressure to perform and all that other stuff.
I think he's probably been doing this for a long time. And there have been a lot of times where he probably has taken a car service or somebody else has driven. But then there are these moments in time where he thinks he can actually drive a car and make these dopey moves like he tried to make this past weekend or past week and puts himself in a really bad situation. He revolutionized golf.
He brought golf into the mainstream. He was the one that lifted the PGA Tour to the highest levels it ever has been. And he's still an iconic golfer. But what this also shows you is that he's a human being. And he deals with all the same things that the rest of us deal with. He just deals with it either on the back page or the front page, depending on what we're talking about.
When we're talking about the TGL, maybe the back page of the sports. When we're talking about this, it's the front page of the newspaper, or it is the first thing that happens when you open up your notifications when it comes to social media. So, you know, he's not a victim in any of this.
These are decisions that he's making himself, and the people around him are not getting him the help that he needs. Let's be honest. I mean, this is, like, he almost killed himself at the Genesis. Yep. And same thing here.

Chapter 4: How do personal pressures impact Tiger Woods' decisions?
He could have killed himself here, too. And this is on Jupiter Island, where, you know, everything is, like, 30 miles an hour. I mean, have you ever been there? I have not. So it'd be like driving in the Hamptons, you know, when you see, like, a lunatic driving, like, at 75 miles an hour on 27A. You're like, what the hell are you doing?
Right.
You could clip a trailer at any moment. And that's exactly what he did. And he did it at a high rate of speed, which, you know... It's all on him and the people around him. Now, I'm not saying that he's dating Donald Trump's son's ex-wife. I'm sure she's annoyed by all of this, but it's not really her responsibility because she's just getting involved with him over the last year, I guess.
It's the other people around him. It's his agents, the people that are probably enablers.
Yeah, and we've seen that so much when someone is that famous, that wealthy. There's so many people who make money off of that particular person, and you get the hangers on, and you don't want to be honest with the guy. Yeah, that happens a lot, and I don't know how Tiger... The inner circle around Tiger and how it works.
But the obvious thing to say is that he's got to have someone he trusts around him now all the time. Because he can't... The fact that he thinks he could get in a car like that again after all of these issues... But I'm just telling you, they don't...
A lot of these people that are addicted, and I don't know how badly he is, and again, I'm just going by a personal experience with different people and how hard this is and how hard it is for them and the effect that it has on everybody around them. You know, it could be anything. It could be gambling. It could be alcohol. In this case, it's these freaking pain pills.
I mean, I think he's undergone, I want to say, Somewhere around 13 or 14 surgeries.
Well, he almost lost his leg in that car accident. I mean, his leg is completely reconstructed. And he just popped his Achilles.

Chapter 5: What are the implications of addiction on Tiger Woods' life?
And like I said, I saw somebody later in life go through this who unfortunately ā It was a part, I think, of his demise. And then I saw another person who was thriving who got through it.
But it was so much pain involved and so much mental anguish involved that once you finally get on the other side of it, now you're fighting to keep from going back to the other place where you just had come from. And obviously, Tiger is... He's gone back or he's never left. That's the question. Have you heard anything about him?
Because I think we would have heard if he had gone into some sort of rehabilitation center.
I've never heard that, no.
We have never heard that. But what we have heard of is surgeries and car accidents.
Yeah, let me just take a look to make sure that is right. I'll just quickly, Tiger, rehab... Tiger Woods rehab because when I put tiger rehab, it's like actual tigers come up in rehabilitation centers. Inpatient treatment for prescription painkiller addiction.
He has.
2010, 2017, and then also sex addiction in 2009.
So he's got all sorts of things going on.

Chapter 6: How does Tiger Woods' injury history affect his addiction?
I think this was after the DUI arrest. The Genesis accident was after that. Jeez. Yeah.
I mean, it really is. I hate to say it this way, man, but it feels like...
I know what you're about to say, and I don't want... I know exactly what you're about to say. I think I know what you're about to say.
It feels like blank by a thousand cuts. Yeah. Do you think... What's the word at the blank? Starts with an S. Suicide.
Yeah. That's why I know it's... But I don't, you know... Yeah, you don't want to say those things. You don't want to think about those things. But that's why he needs to be in rehab. Yeah, I mean, yes. And it's clear that, I mean, this is also something that's not going away. This pain that he's going to have is going to be there forever.
That's the thing. These people, they end up having to learn how to, they somehow have to live with the pain. Let's go to Sean in Manhattan. What's going on, Sean?
Can you hear me?
Yep, go ahead. Hi, am I on? Yes, you're on. Go ahead. Okay. Hey, listen, guys. I listen to you guys all the time, and you're fantastic, right? But this is passive apologies for Tiger Woods, okay? If you're in your audience, you've got folks that are victims of drunk driving accidents, and you guys are sitting there talking to me about his pain. I don't care, okay?
He could have killed a whole bunch of people. All right. This isn't even close. And we also have in society this apologist for, oh, but it wasn't alcohol. Oh, but it wasn't alcohol. That doesn't take the consequences down. It's just as bad smoking dope, doing pills, doing alcohol. It's the same thing. No more apologist.

Chapter 7: What role does Tiger Woods' inner circle play in his struggles?
He was actually trying to pass this vehicle going very fast. I don't believe that he fell asleep. I think he knew what he was doing, and Mark continued the fight.
Yeah, maybe in the Genesis one he fell asleep. Maybe that one, but not this particular one.
