So it sounds like they had made up their mind, anything short of a Super Bowl championship, and they were moving on.
Again, remember, the story came out about Lamar Jackson about now five weeks ago in the Baltimore Sun, and it basically took shots at Lamar Jackson. So where did that come from? And that's probably, I would think, would be part of the story. the process that the owner is now going through.
Could you imagine he gets up, he turns on his iPad, he reads the Baltimore Sun, he's reading about his quarterback sleeping in meetings. He's like, where the hell is this coming from? So it's coming from within the building. And that's probably one of the tenants of Steve Bishotti. Because Steve Bishotti is pretty close to the vest. You never really hear much from him.
And the only reason we're hearing from him now is because he did fire a very popular coach.
