Prior to that time, Katie’s tendency was to numb, run, and deny… and she was so good at it that she rendered herself disabled by the time she was 42. Staring down a pain-filled path for the rest of her life wasn’t sitting well with her, so she hired a wellness coach who helped her open her mind to other ways to heal that didn’t include pharmaceuticals that left her drained and exhausted. Despite a huge amount of resistance, Katie listened to her coach and within weeks, she had stopped limping. A year later…she was climbing 11,000’ mountains, physically and proverbially! Katie’s work with her coach became the basis of her own coaching work.
