Nina wrote the most incredible book in 2014 called The Big Fat Surprise. It took nearly a decade of research and writing to complete, and it is a masterpiece of journalistic science. Nina is also the Executive Director of The Nutrition Coalition, a non-profit, non-partisan group, free from industry funding, that is simply seeking to (this is absolutely insane, think about this statement) reform the Nutritional Guidelines so that they are based on science. That's right. Our Nutritional Guidelines are NOT based on science. Nina is a gladiator, focused on helping fellow humans understand how nutritional science has failed us.
