James is literally and figuratively here today to share with us his journey from being vegetarian for decades, to strict plant-based vegan for 5 years, and most recently as an animal-based carnivore. As a vegetarian and vegan, James’ health declined so much, that he had multiple hospitalizations, autoimmune issues, anxiety and depression, amongst many other health problems. He ended up practically bed-bound and severely malnourished for over a year. From listening to podcasts, reading books, and discovering the keto and carnivore diets, James has regained his health, and through that process, found happiness and purpose in sharing his experiences. When he is not working as a Life Insurance underwriter, you can find him on his Instagram page @the_carnivorist sharing information on the benefits of including animal foods in your diet.
