Best Worst Year: coming out of your box with Strabe singer songwriter Angelica Black

Send us a textThis week’s guest is Angelica Black, singer-songwriter & co-founder of the band STRABE who signed with the record label PIAS in 2021. They had moved to London in Lockdown 2020 & unable to start gigging, Angelica took an inward journey to explore their sexuality & gender, knowing they were gay but also then understanding that they identified as non-binary.In 2017 Angie's dad passed away, and they starting writing songs to process their grief. They moved to Dublin, formed their band Strabe and their song Acid Love was born; later releasing the prophetic Best Worst YearMusicians and performers really struggled during the pandemic, & Angie came to London in lockdown.
