I'm Mungish Atigular, and I'm back with a new season of my podcast, Skyline Drive. This time I talk to scientists, biopunks, curmudgeons, blues owners, super seniors, and Goa's top cryotherapy lab to try to understand this obsession with living forever and what it means for all of us. And I get into a bit of trouble along the way.
I'd say probably start bone smashing. That doesn't work. Make it look more defined. They say it works. I don't know.

Betrayal Weekly is back with brand new stories from threatening text messages disturbing a small Midwestern town. It was from an unknown number. Who else is getting these messages? Why did it start with us? To long cons and stolen identities.
Who lies about being this sick? This was the last time I ever believed a word she said.

For years, The Unhoused has been presented as a monolith in mainstream media. We The Unhoused is a podcast that's changing the narrative. I'm Theo Henderson, and I created this show while I was unhoused on the streets of Los Angeles. We've grown into a two-time Webby Award-winning podcast, the only podcast that shares unhoused stories and news from the unhoused perspective. Listen to We The Unhoused on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is, getting a racist statue removed. And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is, getting a new one put up in its place. I'm Akilah Hughes, and Rebel Spirit Season 2 is about both of those things.
As I was watching these statues come down, I was thinking about what it meant that I grew up in a majority Black city, in which there were more homages to enslavers than there were to enslaved people.

Guess who's dragging his baggage back to the door 110 pounds, yeah, he's hitting the floor With hair like a brush fire Single again, well, what a surprise He's hogging the shower, ignoring the cries What's he doing in there?
Living rent-free, yeah, he's winning the race Of occupying all of his parents' space Ashton, you king of the basement suite That's right
We're doing it again. Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning. It's been two months since our technical director, Ashton, clicked his heels together like Dorothy from Wizard of Oz and shouted, there's no place like home. And now he's back, living in the same house where he used to practice kissing his poster of the Pink Power Ranger. And wouldn't you know it, he's moved in just in time for his parents' 35th wedding anniversary.
Aww. I'm sure they love that you're there.
It did get our little red-headed test tube baby thinking, how's the romance going between mommy and daddy? Is there anything he could do to improve it? Maybe offer some suggestions? That's why at their latest family meeting, Ashton came up with a few ideas for how to keep that romantic flame going between his folks. Let's listen.
First idea, once a week, I'll take off for the evening. I will leave flower petals leading to a specific room. How do you guys feel about that? You know, I don't think I need a... rose petals to the bedroom. He didn't say anything about the bedroom. Well, he implied that. I also didn't say anything about rose petals either.
