Chapter 1: What confession does the guest reveal about her childhood bully?
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged. It's the Enhanced Games. Some call it grotesque, others say it's unleashing human potential. Either way, the podcast Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year. Within probably 10 days, I put on 10 pounds. I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

Chapter 2: How did the guest cope with bullying in 4th grade?
Like Mark Lamont Hill on the 80s. 84 was a wild year.
It was a wild year. I don't think there's a more important year for black people. Listen to Look Back At It on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You don't know me.
A confession I can't take back. I am... The Masked Speaker. Text to 78592 says, sometimes when my dog has been chewing on a random object for a while, I'll give it a try myself to see if he's on to something. Ew, get out of here, bro. With the same object or is it like... Oh yeah, or do you grab the equivalent of it?
A new one, yeah.
Man, the looks that you must get at the dog park. I can only imagine. It's better than when his dog is licking at something. That's true.
Oh, no.
Don't tag him in. You won't get any weird looks here on the mass speaker because we can't see you. Or hear your real voice because we change it to protect your identity as you tell us your weird secrets. And we've got a woman on the phone ready to come clean today. She's chosen Daisy as her fake name. I like that. I had a dog named Daisy. Me too. You're a good girl. Me too. She's not a dog.
I don't think she's a dog, Daisy. Hello?

Chapter 3: What unconventional method did she use for revenge?
It's just a bunch of barks.
Hello. Okay.
All right. It's a human. Welcome to the show, Daisy. Hi.
Hi.
How are you feeling? I'm okay. How are you guys? We're good. You're cash. Cool. I thought you were going to say like nervous or anxious or any sort of mental health issue.
I mean, yeah, what I'm going to say is a little embarrassing. Okay.
Embarrassing. All right. Now we know where we're at. Voice changer's on. You're the mass speaker. Whenever you're ready, let's hear the confession.
So this is one of the things I thought I was going to take to my grave, but here I am saying it.
Oh, my gosh. Nice. Okay. So this is super embarrassing.

Chapter 4: How did the guest collect her tears for the revenge plan?
Fourth grade. Yep. What do you got? Well, I had school bully. I'm just going to say a random name.
You can call them out. We don't know your voice, so you can call them out.
Okay. I'll just say her name.
Ashley K. Oh, I didn't say last name. Oh, okay. Wow. We might bleep some of that.
Okay, but Ashley. Okay, Ashley.
Ashley was your bully in fourth grade. Oh, no. Yeah, I mean, she just, like, took pleasure in being mean to me. Yeah. Yeah. It is kind of fun. I know. It's always because they have something going on at home.
Yeah, we do.
But, you know, it doesn't make it better. It kind of does.
But it was never anything too intense. It was like little subtle jabs, you know, like to make fun of my lunch. She would say, why does your sandwich look gross?

Chapter 5: What was the reaction of the bully when she discovered the bottle?
That's the worst.
Passive aggressive. Kid bullies. Yeah. Especially if your dad packs you egg salad. Trust me. It was not a good look in the lunchroom. So you kind of agreed with the bully being like, you're right. Why did my mom make this for you?
I don't know, all this seems dumb, but to me it was, at nine years old, it was devastating. Yeah. Like, sometimes you just repeat what I said in a weird voice, like, so other people would laugh.
Dude, I hate those people because they're not very creative.
Oh, I know.
It's like, come on, if you're going to put me down, at least put the energy into coming up with a good, like, line. If you're going to put me down, put the energy in me. Exactly, exactly. Like, that's lazy. That is lazy bullying. I like that Brooke's problem with bullying is its lack of creativity. But that clearly was affecting you.
Well, yeah, I never told on her because I didn't want to be a tattletale. Yeah, you just get bullied harder after that. But at some point, I decided I was going to do something about it.
All right, you're going to take a stand. What are we going to do?
So I can't say this is a little embarrassing, but I took... One of these tiny plastic water bottles, you know, like mini, mini water bottles. Oh, yeah. I can picture them.

Chapter 6: Did the bullying stop after the guest's confession?
The airplane ones. The really small ones, yeah.
And every time I started crying, I would collect my tears in that bottle.
Okay.
Oh, wait.
That's so sad. That's super sad. Imagine crying with a bottle to your eye.
Yeah. Yeah, where are you doing this at? In private? I go home, I just hold the bottle up.
I would just cry for like 10 minutes and put the cap back on.
Put it in the fridge or something? Good work for the day. Get back at that tomorrow.
Not as bad as yesterday.

Chapter 7: How did the guest feel about her actions years later?
This is like a psychological thriller movie. You put a bottle of your own tears on your bully's desk and told her to drink it?
Well, she went to the class. She saw the bottle. She was a little confused. She opened it and took a sip.
Oh, my God.
Who drinks a mysterious bottle with a nose? Nine-year-olds.
Stupid. Yeah, it's true.
They've just graduated from putting random things in their mouths.
Oh, my God. It's like, don't push the button. They have to. How did she react when she took a sip?
She's like, what is this? And then she threw the rest of the bottle away. And I never said anything about it to her. It's now like years later. I never confronted her, told her what it was. But this is good enough for me, just knowing that I made my bully drink tears.
I hope it upset her stomach somehow. Dude, that is a wild story.

Chapter 8: What lessons can be learned from this story about bullying?
Wow. Okay. She drank a lot of tears over the years, so.
Okay. You know, I would see her later, like, after high school, and she would be really cold to me. Like, she always hated me. Yeah. There's always that one girl. I mean, there really is. And they're miserable.
Yeah.
I don't even know what she's doing now. And I've become more successful. And I was always a lot smarter. I went to a better college, got a better job.
And aren't hanging on to any of this. Yeah. I totally don't know what she's up to. Yeah. Well, I'm glad that you're in a better place mentally. I will never look at a mini water bottle the same again in my life. I don't think I'm ever going to drink one again. That's amazing. Next time I'm on a plane, these aren't the pilot's tears, are they? Never mind. Random question.
Well, thank you for coming on the show and confessing that, Daisy. Do you feel a little bit better getting it out there?
I mean, yeah. I was holding on to it for a long time, but I think now I'm finally getting it to rest.
Dude, and you told the whole story without crying. Yeah. Good for you.
Yeah, exactly.
