I'm Jake Brennan, and on my podcast, Disgraceland, I tell the stories behind music's biggest names, the moments that changed music history forever. Sonic Youth was cool, but was the band cooler than the couple on the cover of their album, Goo?
Which podcast promos and hosts are introduced at the start?
Cool enough to escape the glare of the international paparazzi? Cool enough to escape murder? Disgraceland is part of the Exactly Right Network. I'm Mungish Atigular, and I'm back with a new season of my podcast, Skyline Drive. This time I talk to scientists, biopunks, curmudgeons, blues owners, super seniors, and Goa's top cryotherapy lab to try to understand this obsession with living forever and what it means for all of us. And I get into a bit of trouble along the way.
I'd say probably start bone smashing. That doesn't work. Make it look more defined. They say it works. I don't know.

Uh-oh. New candy alert. This is not a drill. Get Brooke's muzzle ready because there is a new candy out right now.
Okay.
It's Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning.
What is it, Jeff?
This one's kind of big because it's the first time in a decade that Reese's Pieces is launching a new product.
Interesting.
So I'm going to need a drum roll or something.
Okay.
Ashton, give it to me.
feels right.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you for the first time ever Reese's Pieces chocolate cookies.
Because Reese's Pieces is peanut butter. Why would they give you a chocolate cookie? It's got to be chocolate and peanut butter.
Yeah, I don't know. You'd think after 10 years they would have come up with something a little more creative than a cookie.
I've got to say, in the Reese's family, the pieces are at the very bottom rung. Oh, the sticks are fire.
It's not even an actual cookie. It's the regular Reese's Pieces with a tiny little itty bit of a cookie shoved into the middle of them. Oh, there's like a little big dough.
They're already so small. Oh, I kind of like it now that I see it. Yeah, I have the photos for you there. I see. It's kind of like.
That looks good.
It looks like a peanut M&M, but instead of a peanut in the center, it's a piece of chocolate cookie. That actually may improve the Reese's Pieces situation.
The texture is going to be fun to. Reese's says it's available nationwide starting July 17th, and it's perfect for backpacks and beach bags for on-the-go snacking with a king-size version coming for Halloween. But you know what they did 10 years ago?
