Chapter 1: What are the Seattle Mariners fans feeling before Game 7?
And she said, Johnny, the kids didn't come home last night.
Along the central Texas plains, teens are dying. Suicides that don't make sense. Strange accidents and brutal murders. In what seems to be a plot ripped straight out of Breaking Bad.
Drugs, alcohol, trafficking of people. There are people out there that absolutely know what happened.

Chapter 2: What unique traditions do Mariners fans have at the ALCS?
Is there any magic left for game seven tonight? We're going to find out. But maybe the biggest sports fan of all of us, Jose Bolaños, was at T-Mobile Park right before the game with a microphone asking the fans a simple question. What you doing at the American League Championship Series? What you doing at the American League Championship Series?
We're ready to go root on the Mariners from our local Seattle book club.
Wait, you're in a book club? All you ladies. There's like, what, six, seven of you?
I think there's like 13 of us coming.
I'm not a good counter. I apologize. Hold on. 13 ladies at a tailgate before a playoff game.
Yeah.
We need like a smutty baseball book to turn us over for next month.
That is smart.
And we have been lusting over some of the players.

Chapter 3: How do fans express their excitement for the Mariners?
He's the hot dog dog from Barking the Park Night. No way. I know this dog. We just came down to spread some good vibes. He's smelling the mic. Hi, buddy. Hi. Hi. He's wagging his tail. He knows his name. I said Chase. He looked me in the eye. He's a smart fella. Dude, yeah, you had a little crowd going here. Now, because you're a diehard and I'm a diehard, I want you to be honest with me.
If the Mariners win the series or even win the World Series, are you going to cry? I don't think I'll cry that much. Come on, make me sound good on the radio. All right, I gotta work into this. I really wish Chase could talk. No offense to you, he seems way more interesting. I get it, yeah. At least he got a shot in before he left. Take down the guy with the famous dog. The dog was too good.
He wouldn't bark. He wouldn't lick the mic. I'm like, make a sound. He's so sweet.
I know.
I did want to hear from the dog more than him. I think the guy wouldn't cry with me. What a weirdo. What kind of weird masculinity is that? Come on. Ban that guy from Mariners games forever.
Keep the dog.
Just let his dog. That's totally fine. Who's going to go to the World Series, Blue Jays or the Mariners? We're going to find out tonight, Game 7. But first, it's what you're doing at the American League Championship, where Jose was out amongst the best fans in the country right before the biggest game in Mariner history. Just to ask him a simple question. What you doing at the ALCS?
Watching our Mariners shove against the Toronto Blue Jays. Absolutely shove. You keep saying shove. What does shove mean? It means shut them down. It means we're basically just shoving them back into the dugout is what we're doing.

Chapter 4: What superstitions do Mariners fans believe in?
Oh, okay. Is there any other baseball lingo that people need to hear right now? Nails. Nails. What does nails mean? Our bullpen. Okay, but that doesn't explain it. Keep going. Nine innings, one hit. Nails. Nails, shove. I need, because of the interview, there's a thing called the rule of three. Give me one more slang term that no one's ever heard in baseball. We're going to f*** up.
That's a swear word. That's not making up a word. Now you're just saying f***ing f***. That's not. We're going to f***. Then we had to end it. Yeah. Were they actually baseball fans or are they just guys who want to be part of a moment? They were pretty bro-y. Yeah. They were shouting the same thing that Brooke yells whenever Julio comes up to the plate. Kiss him!
Cup his backside! Shove me!
Things get really weird in their section in particular.
I try not to catcall him. Too much. Too much.
But you need to catcall them a little bit just so that they remember we are the sexiest team in all of baseball. Just don't make it personal. Just be like, hey, sexy. No one knows who you're acting like. What you doing at the American League Championship Series? Cheering on the Mariners. Okay, now I had to stop you.
You are wearing like a bedazzled bright Mariners jacket that's reflecting the sun into my face.
It's for the Toronto's pitchers at the time that they're pitching.
Tell me your strategy. What's going to happen?

Chapter 5: What baseball lingo should fans know for Game 7?
Yes.
Why?
Because every time I went to a game with him or he watched a game on TV, we lost. So it was either to prohibit him from watching games or try to sage the demonic activity out of him.
What do you have to say to the people of Seattle, the people of the world watching this? What do you want to tell them?
Everyone, sage your houses. Did you meet the bedazzled Etsy witch that's been casting spells?
I mean, her jacket was bedazzled. She looked like a disco ball. Right. You sound like it. I mean, I get superstitions in baseball, but our fans seem to fall more into the voodoo witch doctor category.
Yeah, for sure. Yeah, her book club. I saw a woman on Friday that was literally in a full-on witch outfit. On a witch outfit? Yes. It was a Mariner's witch outfit, but it was a full-on witch outfit.
You know what? We'll take it. Start casting your spells. Get your voodoo witch dolls out.
Whatever it takes, Jeff. Whatever it takes.

We were in the car, like a rolling stone came on, and he said, there's a line in there about your mother.
And I said, what?
What I would do if I didn't feel like I was being accepted is choose an identity that other people can't have.
I knew something had happened to me in the middle of the night, but I couldn't hold on to what had happened.
