Queerness in the Brown Community

In this episode, I (Diviya) am the therapist to a queer Brown client who wants to be known as Khadija (she/they). They reflect on coming out to their caregiver and we explore the parts of them that are emerging now. Coming out is a complex layered process and it has taken Khadija a LOT of inner work to get to the place she is now. As you listen to the session, notice what shows up in your experience, with curiosity, and allow yourself space to listen to your needs during the process. It is simply a modality that has changed my life, resonates with me so much, and I find super supportive for my clients.
