I used to be the one where I was like, oh my gosh, I gotta set a goal. Like, what is this? I don't understand. But now as I've grown and I've learned about what financial goals are or just goals in general, I see the benefits of setting goals and actually achieving them and turning them from dreams into reality, right? because you can't actually achieve a goal if it's just in dream state or wish state, however you prefer to call it.

And so that is why I really wanted to talk to you about today's episode because financial goals fail all the time, but failure is not a bad thing, right? Failure can be a good thing because you're learning about what is either truly important to you or you're learning about... how you didn't maybe set up a plan or you didn't set it up correctly. There's just so much learning in failure. So I feel like we need to work on changing the outlook or the connotation of what it means to fail, right? Because I love to fail and it means that there's learning going on. So that is why I want to talk today about the four reasons that goals usually fail so that you can actually start achieving them so that you can learn what happened and you can start analyzing and looking into what is actually happening in your behind the scenes of your goal setting so that you can actually start reaching them because reaching them and achieving them feels so good pushing them off and just saying well I guess this is never going to happen
Molly Benell 4:33
doesn't exactly feel very exciting, right? And we just feel like we can't actually do anything with our money.
