#106: Jamion Christian is a highly accomplished American college basketball coach, formerly as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at George Washington University. At 29 years old, Jamion became the Head Basketball Coach at Mt. Saint Mary’s where he was one of the youngest coaches, if not the youngest, in all of college basketball. As a young coach, Jamion learned from some of the best coaches in the country. While working as an assistant at Emory & Henry, Bucknell, William & Mary, and VCU, the head coaches that he worked with collectively accumulated over 2,000 career wins. While Head Coach at Mt. Saint Mary’s he led the Mountaineers to two NCAA tournament appearances and a Northeast Conference Coach of the Year Award. Because of his success at Mt. Saint Mary’s he was highly sought after to become the head coach at Siena and then George Washington University. Jamion currently is the Chief Content Officer for Speakeasy Sports. Jamion is responsible for new media and content strategy for the brand. He currently hosts, Winning in the Margins & Last Call with Jamion Christian, which are available on all major platforms and host some fantastic conversations with many great guests. On the show Coach Christian tells his story of growing up, playing basketball, reframing, becoming a coach, building culture, routine, finding your why & purpose, making decisions, different layers of love, creating a personal mission statement, and leaving things better than you found it. Enjoy the show!
