OFFER NISSENBAUM is Managing Director of The Peninsula Beverly Hills, overseeing all aspects of the Beverly Hills icon, a AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five Star-rated hotel in Southern California for 30 consecutive years. Under his leadership, The Peninsula Beverly Hills has garnered some of the travel industry’s most acclaimed rankings within Travel + Leisure, Global Traveler Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler and U.S. News & World Report.Nissenbaum was raised in both Israel and Canada and studied hospitality management at Paul Smith’s College, in Paul Smiths, New York. He began his career with Helmsley Hotels, spending three years in a management-trainee program at the Park Lane Hotel in New York City. In 1986 he joined Doral Hotels & Resorts at the company’s Doral Tuscany Hotel, also in New York City. He relocated to Miami two years later as Resident Manager of its sister property, the Doral Saturnia International Spa Resort, at the time the highest-rated hotel spa in the U.S. He was promoted to General Manager at the age of 30.Nissenbaum later spent several years with Toronto-based Delta Hotels & Resorts, then returned to New York City to become Resident Manager of The Plaza Hotel. Several years later, he joined Omni Hotels.
