All in all, this was a great kickoff to not just SummerSlam, but WWE Radio.
I think, you know, the reviews that came in that I've seen have been effusive as well. I know the play-by-play was greatly appreciated, and Big Joseph, Booker T, people were saying they did an awesome job this morning calling in saying they were grateful they get to listen, you know, if they're a truck driver or whatever, and I saw people... who I know are watching the show, listening along as well. So a smashing debut for WWE Radio today on SummerSlam, the first ever live PLE play-by-play. And now we're reacting on After Dark. Robin Ludberg here with Dave LaGreca. And Dave, I was just talking about the endorsement that Brock Lesnar gave to Oba Femi. I mean, it doesn't get bigger than that, does it?
And the big thing was him pointing to himself and saying, I'm the past, he's the future. And it's true. Obafemi is going to be the guy for the next 10 to 15 years in the WWE. And I think that was the stamp of approval from Brock. And I think it's going to go this way. We saw him beat... Brock at WrestleMania. We saw him beat Brock tonight at SummerSlam. We saw him win King of the Ring. I think the next thing is the Royal Rumble. And then by the time we get to WrestleMania, Obafemi is going to be in the ring wrestling for a world championship. And that's going to kick off the reign of Obafemi as the top star in the WWE.

Obviously, it's just a matter of time until he wins that championship. But he's so dominant in the sense he was able to go like, yeah, I won the King of the Ring, but that's all good. I'll go get that later. I got to take care of Brock Lesnar in the meantime. And we'll see what happens with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins night, too. That's the match I really want to see down the line is Roman Reigns and Obafemi at some point. But you mentioned him. Being the guy, I mean, there aren't that many guys either, right? Like there aren't that many guys who you can point to and say they can define an era. And right now, Obafemi is the best candidate to define an era, not even just in the Goldberg kind of way where it's somebody that comes out and is physically dominant and goes on a run.
But with the championship, as the face of the company, with the ability to cut the promo on the mic, you know, he's got the total package right there. And I see it all the time in my household, the way my kids go crazy for him. I mean, over Femi should be his nickname at this point.
That should be on a t-shirt. There's no doubt about it. I mean, that is, truer words were never spoken. And I feel like that is, like I said, the next 10 to 15 years. But I think this SummerSlam is a bit of a, you know, a changing of the guard. You know, Brock, let's see what his future is. If he has a future in the WWE moving forward, it's now Oba Femi's time. Then you look at the women's division and the Bellas and what we saw with you know, fatal influence. I think fatal influence since they've moved up to the main roster is dominated. And you're starting to see a lot of the newer stars really trying to rise up to the top of the card. And listen, there's been some criticism about the same people being on top, right?
I mean, that's what we heard on this road to SummerSlam. I think you're seeing the changing of the guard right now.
