I want to get into how Monday Night Raw opened last night with Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu. We talked a lot about Jacob Fatu yesterday and the line from Michael Cole about him being neutered. Obviously, they didn't use that line in the package. We talked about it. And they didn't use the line, which means they don't want you to remember the line. But in a lot of ways, Jacob Fatu did just that.
He went to one knee and he acknowledged that.
Chapter 4: What happened with Oba Femi in the King of the Ring Tournament?
Roman Reigns as his tribal chief. And we also brought up about Solo Sokoa. None of that happened. We just saw Jacob Fatu fall to a knee, acknowledge Roman Reigns, and then walk out of the ring behind not only Roman Reigns, but also the Usos.
At the clash, tribal combat, match was over. Michael Cole very definitively said, Roman Reigns... Has neutered the Samoan werewolf. That stuck with me. Yesterday when we came on Busted Open. Paul had put together a package. And that was the last line in the package. And I was like wow. And we opened the show with that line yesterday. The neutered line. How heavy duty it was.
How to me it meant more. Than the actual loss. Because when you neuter a male. You basically take away all of his manhood. You went on to say that you thought that line was so significant that it would come into play last night on Raw. They got rid of the line. In the package last night that they played, they got rid of the line about Jacob being neutered.
They left in the line about Jacob being domesticated. So when you're domesticated, that means you're trained.
Chapter 5: Why was the 'neutered' comment significant for Jacob Fatu?
You're now in line. And that's what we saw from Jacob Fatu last night. Jacob Fatu fell in line. He didn't fall perfectly in line because he had some words for Jey Uso before he fell in line. But at the end of the day, that's what he did. Jacob Fatu came out. He faced Roman. He said something to the effect that I've been a loser my whole life. So this doesn't feel any different to me. Yeah.
He said, I got an L and I've been getting L's my whole life. So, okay. I'll acknowledge you. You are my tribal chief. I will bow down to you. I will take a knee. And I will shake your hand. And that's exactly what happened. So, yes, what I witnessed last night is very much the domestication of Jacob Fatu.
And Bully, it kind of went against... We had all different ideas of what we might see last night on Raw. None of which occurred. Because, you know, we talked about him not backing... Like, him backing down from acknowledging and saying, I'm not. Nah, I'm not doing it. Or some physicality, Solo Sokoa coming into play and Solo saying, hey, I'm the one that brought you in. Don't acknowledge him.
He didn't do it. I did. There was a lot of different scenarios. The one we got was weird because... And I brought it up to you yesterday. His entrance at Clash in Italy was a heels entrance. He looked like intimidating. He looked into fans' eyes. He kind of brushed fans away. I was like, all right, now we're seeing that different side of Jacob Fatu.
Like you kept saying, fans do not want to boo Roman Reigns. All right, let's go with Jacob Fatu being in the heel in this scenario. But you can't be a heel if you're going in front of Roman Reigns and saying, I'm a man of my word. I lost that match, and I'm going to do exactly what I said I was going to do, and then fall to a knee and acknowledge.
How can you hate Jacob Fatu for being a man of his word and acknowledging Roman Reigns? I really don't know what they're doing with Jacob Fatu or unless for now he's just going to be a bit player in this whole bloodline story.
There was a part of me last night that said to myself, okay, Jacob is going to fall in line because you want to keep your friends close and your enemies closer. He's going to be a mole within the bloodline. This is all a setup for maybe Solo getting in his ear. I was coming up with something, anything that I possibly could, that went against the very typical thing that I watched last night.
And then I saw Solo get his ass handed to him by Obafemi, and then I was like, well, that's not going to happen. Or at least I don't think it's going to happen.
I mean, he basically ran... Last night was so... Sorry, he basically ran over him. Like, ran right over him.

And there was a lull in the audience. If you go back and listen, there's a lull. Almost like everybody was holding their breath because they thought something was going to happen. And then Jacob eventually raises up the one. I would have taken Jacob and I would have put him right behind Roman Reigns.
And I would have that hard camera shoot Roman with Jacob's face right over one of Roman Reigns' shoulders, delaying the one in the air, build that up a little bit, boom, and then hit the one. I thought there was a moment there to create a little bit of drama. They didn't do it. It really didn't take away from the segment. The segment was pretty cut and dry.
Jacob comes out, bow down, acknowledge, we all leave together. I guess Jacob Fatu is now a part of the bloodline.
Yeah, there was a couple of things. You mentioned it. He hesitated, and he slowly put up that one. But it was also what he said to Jey Uso. He called him a punk ass. I thought there would be something more. Because you see Roman's face. He turned his head. But then once he made the acknowledgement, he embraced him. But I would think that that comment had to mean something. He went after Jey Uso.
But you're right. Like... Do I want to hear from Solo? Like we talked about Solo Sokoa saying to Jacob, hey, I brought you in. Not Roman. I brought you in. But then we saw Solo Sokoa get run over by Obafemi and one of the members of the MFDs as well. So it's like Solo's back into the place where he's always been. So I'm very... I'm intrigued, but I didn't see that coming last night.
I really didn't. Did they plant a seed with Jacob and Jay?
That's the only thing I can think of is because of what Jacob said. But after the acknowledgement, they all seemed like they were on the same page.
So... I don't know. I didn't see enough that made me go, ah, there's something here. This is the direction they're going to go in.

It looked like... It almost looked like the Jacob experiment has come to an end. We're putting him in, he's now a co-star in the bloodline. And we'll see what happens. And remember, just a couple of months ago, there was all this discussion. about whether Jacob Fatu could be the face of the place and the World Heavyweight Champion. A lot of people said yes, I said no.
Jacob Fatu will never be what Roman Reigns is. Where he fits into this story moving forward, that remains to be seen.
Or at least for now. I mean, they're obviously sticking a pin in that for now. What was really, I thought, interesting coming out of Raw yesterday, Bully is Roman saying to Jay, all right, you tasted this championship. But what about that other championship? You're in the King of the Ring tournament. What about that other championship? And then the face-off with Cody Rhodes in the back.
But remember, when Jay leaves, when Roman says, go get that other championship, Jay leaves. Jimmy leaves with Jay. Roman says, Jimmy, hang back. I got some other something else for you. No, he says he's got to handle this on his own. And Jimmy gives, like, Roman a look as if, I don't understand why you're telling me to hang back, but I'm not going to question you because you're the tribal chief.
Don't know if that was anything.
How interesting would it be, though, if you did get Jey Uso in a position where he wins King of the Ring and he goes up against Cody Rhodes? Because I don't know. We'll find out on Friday where this story between Gunther and Cody is going.
But now after what I saw last night, I wouldn't mind at all if they shift gears and we see Cody versus Jay at SummerSlam where you're going to have both titles held by the bloodline.
At first, I... It's amazing what could happen in a couple of seconds. At first, I was like, ew, no. But then when you said Jay versus Cody and having both championships in the bloodline, it is pretty interesting. And it kind of goes back to the faction holding all of the championships. Yes. I can't say no to the idea.
I can't say no to it. And I like how you said factions. Because Bully, when I look at factions, to me the greatest faction of all time was the Four Horsemen. What made the Four Horsemen so good is that the Four Horsemen held every title. They held all the titles.

So now I'm veering to the right with this face-off between Cody and... and then Roman telling Jey Uso to go after this undisputed championship. Now, I wouldn't even go in this direction, Bully, if Gunther would have attacked Cody after that match on Sunday.
The face-off with Roman and Cody post-clash... Was that more to set up Night of Champions? Is that coming up?
