He was always in conflict with something. And we got to see Randy Orton on the phone. We got to see Randy Orton go to tell the world why. And before we can get that, Zach Well, now, Matt Cardona, caught myself, came out and just put Randy into a tailspin. And I don't know if y'all realize, Randy was being cool and collected and calm. And as soon as Matt Cardona, he just went off.
Are you kidding me? And he went completely left. And Andre, I know Randy has this in him. The last thing that Randy needs is to be provoked. And yes, Randy was the one that started it. Randy was the one that he disrespected Matt Cardona last week. Ain't no way around it. Tried to candy coat it. But I can't. He disrespected that man to his face. And I don't care even if you know that you finna fight Godzilla. If Godzilla disrespects you as a man and you don't stand on business and say, look, you gonna have to eat me, then you feel less of a man. And Matt Cardona was not having that shit. He stepped right to Randy's face and was like, no, that's not the way we're going to do this. You're going to apologize. And Randy was the one that left Matt Cardona in a heap.
And then Jelly Roll, who for the second week in a row has played a role in this. Like, my mother always told me, If you're in a fight and there ain't no way around it, you can't get out of it. The hands are up now. She said, you better never, ever let nobody try to break you up because as soon as you do, somebody is going to punch you right in the face. As soon as you do, somebody is going to stab you. And that always was something that stayed in my mind. And Randy was the guy that took the punch. Like, Jelly Roll ended up being a distraction. Jelly Roll is trying to be the voice of reason. He's the one that made, Randy was about to leave it alone. He knew he had did wrong and he was committed to, man, I did wrong.
But Jelly Roll, again, in business that don't belong to him, all due respect to the country singing legend, But stay out of people's business because now Randy goes to his face and he's in the sense that, hey, man, my bad. I messed up. I'm sorry. But Matt Cardona is still like, man, screw you. You're going to disrespect me and you're going to punch me and blindside me, cold cock me? No. And then this week, Jelly Roll does the opposite. He goes to Matt Cardona. And he gets Matt Cardona gassed up to be benevolent, to, ah, I'm going to let it go. But then Randy is like, I'm going to defend myself. I don't understand why people don't stay in their lane. Mind your business, and it won't be no issue. But to get back to Randy, Randy was on the phone, and everybody wanted to know these last couple of weeks, who is Randy talking to?
It's like back in the 80s when they had the show Dallas, and it was like, who shot J.R.?

Yeah, you got to be at least 50 years old and know what I'm talking about. All the young people right now are like, what the hell is he talking about? But Randy was on the phone and we wanted to know. Throughout the show, another time, Randy's on the phone and he goes, I'll see you in a minute. And now we're all anticipating, oh, who is this going to be? You're watching the show. A lot of good stuff went on in pro wrestling tonight on SmackDown. But you still had in your mind, and Andre, you can butt in anytime you want to. The whole show, I kept thinking, who is Randy talking to?
The more Randy is talking, the more I'm convinced now that it is just the voices in his head.
