We we wanna make sure that everybody's well entertained. But you also gotta have believability and you gotta have emotional ties. Emotional ties are super important in wrestling. You might say, Oh Wrestling is about toughness. It's about finishes. It's about storylines. Wrestling is about feelings. How does wrestling make you feel? What are you willing to sacrifice? To go and watch. The thing that gets you in your feelings. And it's a lot of y'all in y'all feelings tonight. But I'm gonna tell you what I am. I'm excited. But then there's something new. Gunther. And Seth Rollins, the Paul A Paul Heyman Triangle. And then you you have all of the championship matches. J. Cargill. Ria Ripley. What does the show say about the importance of emotional ties and believability in wrestling?
Pat McAfee And just so y'all know. I know Andre got the sound queued up probably already. Pat McAfee cut a promo. In his car on the way to the airport. Or wherever the hell he was going. He might have been going to Whataburger or something, hell, I don't know. But I know this. He talked to you. He talked to you. Yeah, you listening. That's what he was talking. And then he referenced All of the people that have radio shows and TV shows and podcasts. And just, you know, for shits and giggles on social media. He tagged a few. We were one of the ones he tagged. But Andre I want you to play what Pat said because it was important To WrestleMania? And it was important to tonight. How about that, Marks?
Never back on any wrestling television. If Randy Organization is a good idea. Loses. At WrestleMania. I don't know how long the business will last if that happens. But I will never come back. I am here on a mission to motivate a six foot five, two hundred and seventy, two hundred and eighty pound. Monster. To leave. W W E My friend. The legend killer. That goat. Red. More. Tickets available now. Most important match in the history of this business happens. In Las Vegas. Not bad.
Come watch it now. Pat Magsee said the most important Match in the history. of sports entertainment. I'm gonna tell you wh why why Pat said that. Gaz I love pro wrestling. And I have seen per first professional wrestling. be over advertised. I've seen that be over explained I've seen The soft underbelly. of the pro wrestling business told to everybody. I've seen it be looked at as more of the entertainment Soap opera for men. Even though I feel like just as many women. watch wrestling as men, probably more
And the other thing A lot of the hardcore old school wrestling guys They keep saying stuff like I used to watch back in the attitude error. I used to watch When guys look like they would just beat you up just for looking at 'em. I'm not saying that the guys aren't tough. But there's a lot of guys in pro wrestling That have assumed talents. They can give your ass the vulcan nerve grip and you would not even know you went to sleep. But the days Of big burly Middle aged men wrestling is over. Cosmetic business too. It's a beauty business. And it it it Sex cells. You want people to look the part. Especially high end television. And that's what Pat McAfee's saying. I w I want to bring back That part of wrestling. The toughness.
The aggressiveness. We're a little two PG. I'm I'ma just say it, yeah. We're a little two P G. I mean we don't wanna go Andre's brand of wrestling.
