More info at besantmotors.com. What's happening, Donnie? How you doing, man?
Okay. I'm a heavy hay fever sufferer.
Oh, no.
It's really bad out there. Like today is not bad because it's raining, but the weekend was horrible.
Oh, that's brutal.
Yeah. So, you know, when you've got walls of drugs dedicated to hay fever sufferers like myself, and I had it worse when I was a kid, you know, something's up. It's really bad right now. Oh, that's brutal. So shout out to all those people out there who are like me.
So what did you do on the weekend?

Chapter 3: What are the implications of the Canucks being voted the worst run organization?
Just kind of hole up on the couch and watch Rory stumble his way to back-to-back majors? Masters?
That would have happened no matter what. It was so good. It's just so dramatic. And I think, you know, as good as they are, the golfers on the PGA Tour or LPGA Tour, there's so many times... even during an event in masters when they're at their, where they just seem so human and they screwing up and we can all relate to it. And then they bounce back. It just, it just such great drama.
And that certainly was the case Saturday and Sunday.
Well, Justin Rose chunked one on his chip on, I think 11 or 13 around there. And I was watching, I was like, Oh, he's just like me.
Yeah. Oh, it's just, it's just, it's so great to watch and so agonizing and, We can relate to it, and yet we can't, you know, because the stage is so big and they're so darn good.

Chapter 4: How does the team plan to approach the upcoming draft?
But there are those moments where, okay, they're actually human, and it just makes the entertainment even better.
No, honestly, I think some of the funniest human moments came from Hao-Tung Lee, who talked about he was on the toilet. He was living on the toilet for the weekend, and then he had that shot where... I don't know what happened. He just hits it into the water and bounces off. That guy looks like me being nervous on a weekend as well.
And it's just amazing how that stage can reduce people to their most novice moments in the sport. And I think that's why Rory deserves so much credit because you think when you kind of fall back, you're down two shots, Cam Young's taking over, Justin Rose is nipping at your heels. You had a chance to put this away on Saturday and you didn't. And he still had the mental fortitude to come through.
And I just think that speaks so highly to having the mental strength to go through those ups and downs, which can't be easy under that pressure.
I don't think like any other sport either. And not just Sunday, Seth, but also just having that record six-stroke lead after two rounds, going into Saturday and then shooting a 73, which, of course, we'd all kill for. But for him, that's not very good.

Chapter 5: What are the standout prospects for the Canucks in the draft?
And to be able to recover from that on Sunday, which was also completely up and down, It's just really admirable. It's just great entertainment. And the visuals are so good. It's just so old school. You know, with Mark Kalkovecchia getting thrown off the course because he used his phone earlier in the week and just stuff like that. It's really, really special.
And, you know, I think for us here in Canada, because of our weather, Maybe not so much down there because they get better weather earlier, but it just signifies not just the start of golf season, but the start of better weather, although you wouldn't know by today, the better weather coming. It's just a really special weekend.
Some more impressive back-to-back victory. Rory or the Canucks this weekend?
The Canucks, come on. Absolutely. But you know what?
Chapter 6: How important is it to keep key players like Curtis Douglas and Teddy Bluger?
It was entertaining. There was an edge to both those games. So I'll give them that. There was some hope there. I mean, it's probably given the circumstances, which are pretty awful. It's the best you could hope for. So there was edge. It was entertaining. I was, you know, you know, okay with what I saw from the Canucks and, you know, to have Curtis Douglas score that goal. And it was such a,
Nothing against these guys because they're such great athletes, but such a beer league moment when he scored. It was really, really special. Again, something that a lot of us can relate to when someone like that pops in his first goal after... hanging around for so long, 41 NHL games. And you could just tell that it was very special by the reaction of his teammates.
Chapter 7: What are the potential coaching changes for the Canucks?
Yeah, absolutely. And I bet you organizationally, so they have a decent weekend towards the end of the season. They win a couple of games. People feel pretty good about things. And then you wake up on Monday morning and all over the web, people are talking about how bad a situation Vancouver has with the agents and that Vancouver...
NHL agents talking to The Athletic about Vancouver being voted the worst run organization in the National Hockey League. So I'm sure whatever steam they were building up, that sure probably took some air out of the building, having to look at that. And then people talk about how bad a situation you're in all of a sudden.
But I guess when you're 32nd and you're 32nd with a bullet, it's not unfair to be viewed that way. But what was the most jarring part of what the agents were saying about Vancouver and the lack of plan and also the noise being too high?
And discombobulated, I think, is one of the words that Deliwell couldn't say today. But that word came out in one of the quotes, and not being on the same page. And I thought, you know, we said this on the show, that I wonder when the quotes were received.
Like, it almost seemed to me like it might have been before they uttered the word rebuild, because I'd like to think they're on the same page right now. Now, the agents would know more than we would.

Chapter 8: What does the future hold for the Canucks under current management?
But I would like to think they're on the same page with the whole rebuild situation. But if they're not, that's just awful. Because they've come out and seem to have a plan right now. And if they still don't, that's just absolutely horrible. Elliott made a really good point today on the show. And he said basically that the poll reflected the standings in reverse order.
And that if this was done 12 months ago, Buffalo might be at the top of the worst standings. run organization. So that's a pretty good point. It's a reflection of what most franchises have to go through. I will say this, though, that whenever you see these polls, man, Tampa Bay always comes out at or near the top, and they were today as well in terms of the best run organizations.
And the one that maybe might have been surprising and maybe a little kick in the you-know-where for Canuck fans is that Minnesota was up there like two or three in terms of the best run And I just say that it might have been a bit of a kick because they're the ones who ended up getting Quinn Hughes. But Tampa Bay are continuing to be so impressive.
So it's true that this is a reflection of the standings. And yet at the same time, I would say, you know, it is kind of validating for us media folk here because we talk about this team fairly often. And we're always criticized as like, oh, you're too negative. And yet you see it today like that. externally, they are viewed as negatively as well.
And so from our vantage point, it's like, look what we keep trying to bring up here all the time.
Yeah, and maybe going against that a bit might have been, I think Anaheim was voted the toughest organization to deal with. Now, that's a shot at Pat Verbeek, who just got extended, by the way. You know, by the way, they're having a pretty good season. It kind of goes against that. But yeah, it was... It was somewhat it validated with what so many media members have been saying.
And, you know, things aren't that great. You just look at the standings and you take your shots and then we take our shots from the public and social media and in our various inboxes.
and emails so it it somewhat validated that but i i don't think people being negative at this point with the connections all that surprising just that some people just refuse to refuse to criticize them in any other way and i understand where they're coming from they're true fans and they somehow think that if they're positive no matter the situation that's going to help them and i guess i i guess i get that but yeah um yeah it kind of you know made us at our show feel feel about the
the correct phrases feel better, but validated us in terms of what we have to say on a pretty much daily basis.
