Okay, the second part might be a bit overrated on San Jose. Not to say they've figured out their blue line, but they made some pretty sizable additions already and made some pretty big commitments. They added money to it. They did. They certainly did. But I do think for a team like Anaheim, they need a D-man in a bad, bad way. Otherwise, they're not making the playoffs next year. I don't care. You can't have that blue line and expect to be a playoff team.
At the very least, San Jose... raise the floor of their defense. We can debate, like, how high the floor is, but Nurse, Truba, Orlov, Kesselring, Dickinson, like, that's five bodies that you're going to say, like, hey, we can trot these guys out in a variety of minutes at different points of the year, and you'll feel okay about it. That's five guys.

So with San Jose, the thing I was wondering is like, hey, maybe they don't want to make a huge addition going into the season on defense, but let's say they're in the playoff picture firmly at the deadline. Is that a situation, especially if Hronik is still on the roster, that that becomes more of a possibility? Or do we think they're just going to stand pat as the season goes on? San Jose.
I think as the season goes on, depending on how things work out, they might be a bigger player in that regard. Because I don't think they're going to be afraid of trading away draft picks anymore. Especially after getting Stenberg, Verhoff, and Lin in the first round this year. I mean, they're short draft picks next year, right?
Because they gave up the second. Yeah. I think they gave up multiple picks here recently.
