The GM search continues. More names kind of surfacing. Interviews going on to the second stage. I know there's been some various reports on that. I know Drance wrote about it as well. And ultimately, I don't think anything is overly close. Still, you know, it's still a little ways away. The biggest question is, are you going to have something done before or after the draft lottery?
Not that I think it matters, but just because we have that date for next week, next Tuesday, the draft lottery is coming up. Will they have a GM in place by then?

Given you're going through the second round of interviews, and what I heard was, not that they're not moving on to the second round of interviews, but it doesn't mean that just because they're going to the second round, that they may not also interview somebody else still for the first time as well. Sure.
That came up as a possibility when I was talking to people today that, yes, for many, they're moving on to the second round and they're going to narrow it down to a short list, but it doesn't mean they may not consider other candidates potentially here over the course of this week.
The one thing that's interesting too, as we've been talking about here for a couple of weeks now, is it doesn't seem like there's a lot of conflict between the three teams that are looking for candidates right now of, oh, this person's interviewing in all three spots and they get to pick and choose.
So does that speed up the process because you don't have competing candidates that you can just go through your internal process and say, hey, we're getting these guys to our questionnaires, our process here, and they aren't wasting more time or wasting our time having to now go talk to Toronto to go fly to Nashville. And that slows down the process. Can everyone kind of speed up?
Because Toronto seems like they have their group of people they're looking at. Nashville seems like they have their group. And Vancouver's got their group. Would that shorten the entire process? wait here to name someone by a week.
Right. Yeah. And that very well could, right? And I think it's still somewhat of a fluid situation, but they're certainly getting further along in the process. But I'm not sure that they're at a stage quite yet where that shortlist has fully materialized. So we'll see how that goes here over the next little while.
And I think what Drance wrote is generally, I mean, not generally, I mean, it's accurate in terms of how things have gone and we'll see how it happens. I know there's been some names who have stood up surface. I know Dolly Wall mentioned, wondered about Marcus Naslund. And I couldn't get an answer in terms of no, there's no chance on Marcus Naslin. What I was told was it's probably unlikely.
Now, Naslin was in town. I think he was here to sign some autographs. That was in early April, yeah. Yeah, with Pastime Sports. So I think that's why he was in town more than anything else because I know he's been spotted in town. People are wondering, what is that all about?
