About Deidre: Deidre Edwards, a retired Registered Nurse and National Board-Certified Teacher of Career and Technical Education for Health Sciences, is passionate about teaching and sharing information to help others live their best lives. She began the how-to skills section of her double book, Toolkit for Caregivers, during her husband's two years in hospice and completed the book after his passing when she added caregiver survival tips with perspectives about death, dying, and early grief. A new, updated, full-color edition of Toolkit for Caregivers, featuring additional resources for caregivers, will be available on Amazon in early July. Now living in the Piedmont area of North Carolina, Deidre is a keynote speaker on health, wellness, and caregiving; continues to write her weekly blog, and may be reached at [email protected].
