When Amir Malik and Alastair Spink joined forces to create opportunities for Muslim women to experience golf, they weren’t quite sure what to expect. But when their first event in Birmingham sold out in the space of 12 hours, they were blown away. Fast forward to the event itself and the reaction of those taking part, and they knew there was potential for something much bigger. This led to the roll out of a series events across the United Kingdom attracting the interest of over 1,200 women.
