This month we discuss Why science is sexist by Nicola Gaston. That science is sexist isn't a question Nicola Gaston entertains – it is. Rather, she wants to know why a field that prides itself in being rational should behave so illogically.We discuss the research she presents on unconscious bias, in both men and women. And we talk about whose responsibility it is to address the problems of sexism, and what indeed they should do to address them.
