Fred Allen was a radio humorist on air from 1942 to 1949. These are four selections from his show, which often featured a question for his fictional guests. 1- “Were you a prodigy and did you display any exceptional talents as a child?” Broadcast on January 28, 1948.2- “What was the outstanding event of happening in 1947?” Broadcast on December 28, 1947.3- “How is the housing shortage affecting you?” Broadcast on October 7, 1945.4- “Was your family income higher in 1944, and if it was, what accounted for the increase?” Broadcast on June 6, 1945.
