Of all the episodes I have been able to record, these episodes with my father stand out as some of my favorites. Und ich glaube nicht, dass sie eigentlich spezifisch auf dieser Plattform gearbeitet hat. But they never made a delineation on exactly where they stood. So by aligning with it and either... Not even saying anything about it. That's what I'm saying.
If you don't align with it or you don't separate yourself from it, you're leaving it up to the viewer or in this place it would be the voting populace that is bombarded by information all day long.

Seine letzten zwei Jahre im Büro, der Elevator ging nicht ganz hoch. Ja. So there's a precedent for that.

If there's numbers in between, yeah. And at 2,000 people a day, I think that I saw some math that that would take 27 years. So, again, I think, I mean, I think there are some ways where you could tackle that, but it's not as easy as just saying, hey, we got one, we're going to send them back. Because depending on the country of origin, it can be a little bit more complex than that.
I don't know beyond that point, How that necessarily works. I've heard that actually they will be held in the US until an agreement is worked with that country of origin and they may not actually go back to that country. We may end up releasing them inside of the United States. But that's a months-long, if not years-long process.
Well, we need a new pathway for legalization that has to be followed. I don't know. I'm not smart enough or know the mechanics.
I would say we probably need to re-look at the asylum-seeking process.

Chapter 4: What do we learn from family discussions about politics?
Oh, without a doubt, but I'm not talking about the world, I'm talking about right here.
No, inside the United States, but I argue with people Or I disagree with people that say, well, if you're not white, you can't be racist.
Because my definition of... I've never even thought it like that. I know many black people are just as racist as anybody else.

Ich kann nicht definitiv sagen, aber nur, wie wir, wir sahen nur die Management, als wir filterten, und plötzlich, zwei oder drei Leute der Farbe. Es war erstaunlich, wie... Es hat sich verändert.
Es war sehr subtil. Ich hatte es vorher gesehen, also wusste ich es. Wie ich es euch gesagt habe, war mein liebster Freund im Militär und im Ausland ein großer blauer Mann. Die schlimmste Diskriminierung, die ich jemals gesehen habe, waren die blauen Leute, seine Brüder, gegen ihn, weil er mit einem Kracker verhalten war. Aber er war ein 6'4, 6'5, 2'60. Sie werden ihn nicht verletzen.
Sie werden ihn nicht verletzen. Er war ein dreckiger Arschloch. Aber ich hatte noch nie so viel Rassismus gesehen. In Santa Cruz, als ich geboren wurde, hatten wir vier oder fünf schwarze Familien. Es machte keinen Sinn. Wir waren nur Teil der Gemeinschaft. Es war nicht bis ich ins Bootcamp ging mit Leuten aus North Carolina und Virginia.
