Maurice is a bit of a Sorrento guru and he is joining us today to share his wealth of Sorrento knowledge.  Things to see and do: Amalfi Coast - The world-famous Italian coastline that stretches 50km along the southern edge of the Sorrentine Peninsula. Capri - A beautiful Italian island off of the Sorrentine Peninsula. Expect to see A-listers and glamazons in their holiday homes and villas. From €21 – Closed on a Sunday (Mon to Sat = 9 am to 7 pm) Mount Vesuvius - https://www.visitpompeiivesuvius.com/en/vesuvius  €10 to visit the crater of Mount Vesuvius.  Hiking up Mount Vesuvius is one of the most popular activities in the area – Hiking experience not required.  The trail is about 4 km up and back, with a change in altitude of about 140 meters and an average slope of 14%; the trail reaches 1,170 meters above sea level.
